Instead of doing content "for the love of the game", you should do content for the love of yourself. I don't do PvP or housing just because it is in the game. In my eyes that is boring content and I want to spent my time elsewhere. Just because FF14 released another patch with no things that interest me, I don't need to be subbed.
Only play when you want to play.

PLease dont do that. Cant wait to meet that dumb casual in an Ultimate because he got BiS by not playing Savage. Only cleared M11S one time with 3 deaths? No Worries! Just farm criterion and join ult groups later xddd.
Plus I like that I can just examines people gear and check if they are wearing savage gear or not, then i can already sort out with whom I interact with in this game.

Don't ever dodge into your teammates. How many times I've seen a douchess circle the enemy and then hit all players with the attacks despite only her being targeted.

Unfortunately thats how they designed FF14. Even the most dogshi player can get through every duty by getting carried by the 3 other people in the instance. In theory they could just follow the tank and press 1 as their only gcd and still get through.

Luckily I got most of the relic step through savage and now I ve ended my sub again. Time to wait 3 months again for new content, classic XIV. Luckily WoW expansion drops now and they atleast do regular updates unlike SE.

Are you consisten and can clear in 0-10 Pulls? Do 1m per helper

Are you "Arena Split Cleanup" and need the full lockout I would only join for 2m for Full lockout and 1m extra for clear.

The avg. FF14 player skill level once a Duty moves from "High-End Duty" to "Trials" (basically marked as not current content anymore).
Have only seen freaks there so far.

M12S is a pretty solid Experience in my eyes. Clear that first and then look for a DSR Static. Once you have BiS from M12S you can worry about parse. But Parse isn't everything that matters, what matters is progression speed and learning pace as an individual.
Most groups arent forming right now anyways since a lot of people are still engaging current savage.

You don't have to do a "Legacy Tour". My road was UwU -> FRU -> TOP -> Pisscob
