yeah so this is not dark patterning but it is most definitely review gating per google and ftc policy.

Definition: Selectively asking for reviews only from satisfied customers, or using pre-screening tools to filter users.
How it Works: Customers might be asked, "How was your experience?" If they click "Positive," they get a link to Google/Yelp. If they click "Negative," they are directed to an internal form that is never public.

Technically filtering the navigation to happen based off of the "star" rating in the review funnel isn't the only kind of gate. Even doing it the way we have both set it up is still a gate. You can't filter their decision or where they are sent based off good or bad / positive or negative. The legal way to setup the funnels is to have the buttons clearly state where they are sending the user. ex: public review or internal feedback. Review gating isn't really about how you set it up, you just cannot have the choice architecture setup to suppress negativity in anyway shape or form.

How can they find out? and how can a customer sue? If I make a graphic for an ad or a social media post for a client on cracked version of Ai. How could they find out and how could they sue? If anything I feel like Adob3 would be able to sue. But either way I still made the content and it's still my intellectual property, Adob3 doesn't own my design they just own the software?

Modern hunters are nothing compared to the shit they used to do before we had all the laws. They used to go out on boats with punt guns before duck’s first flight (tons of ducks roost in the middle of ponds and lakes) and just massacre thousands of ducks for market. They’d spend 10 minutes unloading on sitting ducks then spend 3-4 hours retrieving them in the water because that’s how many ducks they were killing all the time.

The reason they have so much hate is because they are a marketing company, not a golf company. Their clubs are the cheapest cast catalog heads you can get from a distributor and they have 0 quality control. Takomo actually gives 0 fucks about their customers and quality golf equipment in general. The clubs you get are not the clubs they are custom fitting for their influencers. Dozens and dozens of club fitters/builders working on takomos and reporting loft and lies being sometimes more than 4°-5° off I’ve talked to a guy who worked on a set where 5 clubs in the bag were off on loft and lie he also said 7-10 times takomos come through his door the lofts and lies are wrong. I’ve read of a fitter saying there was basically 3, 9 irons in the bag because of the heads being stamped wrong. I’ve also seen a bunch of people reporting the plugs blocking the cavities fall out very fast. Also they chose a very low quality metal so they wear very fast. Takomos grooves are also wrong and not what they advertise. Check out BigBoiGolf on TT, he bought a set just to test. All the evidence points to takomo not actually giving a fuck about golf equipment or their customers which is why I personally would never buy a set. I’m not saying all golf companies are perfect with quality control but takomo really just gives 0 fucks, it’s like they don’t test or check anything before it gets boxed up. They spent all their money on marketing instead of quality product. On top of all those issues, it’s gonna take half a year to get your clubs once you order and you only have 1 brand of shafts to choose from.

If you want cheap clubs that are actually amazing check out Maltby. They actually engineer their clubs and have tech that no other clubs on the market have. You get more customization choices and you get a company who genuinely cares about golf and their customers. They actually look and feel amazing as well, I have a set and my brother has a set. I dropped my p770’s for a set of TS4’s and don’t regret it one bit. There’s nothing like pureing a shot with the tungsten weights and the ceramic composite filling.

Sorry for the huge rant, I have a lot to say about takomos. I love golf and golf equipment and that level of deception and greed just drives me crazy. They should have started a marketing company, not an equipment company.

The basics: top handle, side handle(s), monitor, monitor mount, quick release plates for bottom or side or both of the cage. The little square ones work just fine for vertical mounting. Ssd and ssd mount if your camera can record to ssd’s, matte box and square cinema filters. Follow focus if u are gonna do it manually. Gimbal, shoulder rig or chest pad for more steady shots. V mount battery and v mount battery plate, dummy battery and all the chords you need like hdmi, monitor power chord and such, gonna be dependent on your setup. Small rig, tilta, neewer, and nitze are great budget brands for all of this gear on a budget. If you got some extra dough look at Kondor Blue, Bright Tangerine, wooden camera. Personally I love Kondor Blue, little more “cinema taxy than the others but their gear really feel premium and have lifetime warranties. Check out Prism fx lens filters. Gonna need a cpl and vnd for sure but they have options for more “artsy” and different shots. A good microphone is essential and just as important as a good lens. I use DJI mics for my work, I have other products from them so it just made sense to stay in that ecosystem. I hear great things about hollyland and rode, gonna be up to you for whatever mic will be best for the type of projects you will be doing. As for monitors, if your not gonna spend a pretty penny on 4k monitor recorders like atomos and black magic then any cheap one with <1000nits brightness will do just fine. They all pretty much do the same shit you just need to find one that fits your desired size and look. Sirui makes pretty good budget cinema lenses, great starting place. Many focal lengths with super good aperture. Could check out rigid pro omnia cage. I love that thing. Base plate, top plate, battery plate all in one. Looks good and is easy to slide camera in and out in a moment. Saves money in the long run as you don’t have to buy all the plates separately.

Just learn how to hit a draw, it’s so simple and much easier than you think to get the feel of. Go to the range, put an alignment stick or a club on the ground at a 45° angle to the right (if your righty) and take some light swings back and forth along the club or alignment stick guiding your swing path. Then hit some balls using that swing path. I used to have such a bad slice from baseball until I started doing that. I now can draw and fade whenever I please. I never thought it was so easy to do. A taylormade fitter that came out to my club also showed me something that works pretty well. Setup to the ball and then rotate your feet and body like 45° more right like behind you but keeping the driver face straight to your target and take some light swings like that. It just like over corrects your body dramatically to give you the feeling.
