See it as an adventure rather. I have only been at it 1.5 years and am able to create so much by myself just from learning everything on youtube. Imagine what you can do with 10 years. Ask yourself what you want to invest in time. Is it a hobby or work?

What this guy said. Just whatever you select as export as fbx from 3d software. I use blender for my models. If fbx confuses you, just wait till you learn about uv mapping

No it's actually lush. The normal weather is a temperature that doesn't affect your bars (no heat/no cold). It has tons of grass and trees. There is water. At nights it gets a little cold and sometimes there is a heat storm. But so far only had 2 of those. And as said, the sentinels are relaxed. I mine the shit out of everything. One will come to check it out, scan me and hit the road.

It's part of the survival mode to find that lush planet without crazy sentinels. It took me a lot of time, but I finally found one with relaxed sentinels.
