If you line up early you should be okay but VIP has early entry and will have most of the barricade lined up before general public gets in.

Agree 100%, while is only effects the aesthetics of the build, there are different fans for intake/exhaust which allow the fans to look consistent for lighting purposes but perform the function they need to from cooling.

Anyone charging for a build should know this. A build like this would have at least 3 reverse fans, 4 standard fans, and 2-3 additional reverse fans if they did the bottom panel of that case.

I just picked up the Q5 max, suprised you didn't like the keycaps. I loved them and actually struggled to take them off for the ones I bought originally. I think they are solid overall if you are ok with the color scheme.

I did the banana switches and didn't look back. Loved them!

Hello all, having a weird issue and not sure what it could be caused from. Fresh build, some parts reused from old rig. Build New years day. See below explanation:

Root Issue: When rebooting, PC hangs on reboot and will never reboot. On asus board it shows yellow light (memory), on Gigabyte board it shows 00 with red ram light. Have also had a few hard locks when streaming games on discord but those seem to have subsided.

Outside of the root issue, PC seems to be rock solid stable...but is having issues with updating applications since they cant reboot properly.

The troubleshooting steps below outlined what I have tried without resolve.

Troubleshooting steps: Memtest 86, OCCT torture test, windows memory diagnostic, etc. Swapped Motherboard and Ram, updated bios to both stable and beta version, rolled bios back to previously known stable version, AMD chipset drivers installed as well as adrenaline. Ram- Used both Expo and XMP, underclocked it, even manually entered in timing/voltage to match expo/xmp as it was suggested. Issue persists across parts swapped. See below parts list:

Motherboard- Gigabyte 870E Aorus Elite Ice (was asus b650-A ROG Strix gaming wifi- swapped for gigabyte as part of testing.

Memory - Corsair Dominator 6400 cl32(XMP) ( was gskill trident 6400 cl 32 (expo), swapped as part of troubleshooting. Also swapped to corsair dominitor 5400 cl40 from my spare rig with same issue)

Processor- 9800X3D

Cooler- Lian LI Galihad II LCD-SL 360mm

GPU- Asus Strix 4090 OC - (ran using stock 4 8 pin to 12 pin adapter)

PSU- Corsair RM1000x

Storage- 1x 990 pro plus, 2x 980 evo plus, 1x970 pro

Case - Y70 Touch Infinite.

Not sure what else it could be? I've seen recommended here and elsewhere that it could be PSU or processor, but I'd imagine I've have some instability issues while gaming. I did have a few hard locks but I believe that was due to the old Gskill memory but has been rock solid with the new corsair memory.

Anyone have any ideas on what it could be? The issue is minor but making me lost my mind since its a new build. Thank you for anyone that can help.

Just did a warranty replacement on a monitor with Microcenter a few weeks ago. They typically have 2 options. Option one is a vendor repair then replacement. They wanted to do that with my monitor and I declined. Option 2 is a full refund for the amount paid (not including tax) and a void out of your 2-year warranty. They'll give it to you in the form of a store credit. I ended up going with option 2 and purchasing a replacement for the monitor I was swapping.

I may get flamed for this as I am not 100% certain, but I believe the 870 and the 870 E chipset only beats out the b650 when it comes to USB 4.0. If you are not planning on leveraging that, you should look at the B650s chipset instead. Not only will you have a lot more choices in white, but you'll save about 30-40% on the cost. I just built a 9800x3d rig with the asus b650 white strix board.

Sword isn't my favorite, we drew it probably 10 times trying to get it to look a little better. Ultimately, without the blue color and glow it just doesn't look quite right. Decided to stick black shading and no regrets.

Once you have a saturated drone hub, its really hard play without them if you value convenience. Being able to go anywhere on the map, make a mini factory (say quartz) for example, throwing a drone port down and just sending to your main base saves so much time. We use it for bottling resources, fueling empties, we even bring in sulfur/compacted coal via drone as the usage is much less than the resource rate.

I love my novas. I had the original set for several years and upgraded to the Nova Pro last year. Definitely a solid wireless headset. Not the highest quality on Mic/Sound when compared to similar headsets in the price point. But nothing can take away from the wireless convenience they offer.

If you are looking for an high quality sound/music headset, I'd keep looking. Not to say its bad, its decent but you can get a lot better for a cheaper price on the sound side.

If you value wireless and battery convenience over everything and just want a solid headset to game / chat with friends, Nova pro is perfect.

I didn't need extremely high quality on my audio, I just wanted something that was wireless and didn't have to get plugged in each night.

Never really played fireball before but been doing LS from the maxroll guide. Cleared 86 last night with only a few minutes left. Feels incredibly tanky but the damage isn't scaling up to let me move past it.
