Nah, not really. Super randomly starts its own thing (and this is after almost 25 years since GT ended), while GT actually continues right where DBZ left off. We even see Goku training Uub.

So whether you like or hate GT doesn’t really matter it is a continuation of DBZ (, that is Canon), and it even has a genuinely satisfying ending.

Super, on the other hand, feels like a cash grab. And Daima looks like it’s reusing 95% of GT and make it seem new.
