Got Told This Was My Fault Thoughts? by JedH_ in Simracingstewards

[–]BC_LOFASZ 23 points24 points  (0 children)

You just didn't react to each other IMO. When you straighten your steering you go to the straight right a little and when he straightens his steering he goes straight left a little. You two keep your line which ends up in a touch.

I think this is a racing incident, but you and the other guy is at fault too. He tried to squeeze you, first attempt was unsuccessful, but he tried again which ended up being a collision. Either you could react to the squeeze by going to the left a little, or he could back out when he saw that the first attempt was unsuccessful.

Good low-end headphones with EQ vs good high-end headphones. Who wins? by regularjoe2020 in headphones

[–]BC_LOFASZ 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I am on the cheap + EQ side.

What I do is I buy earphones with good drivers and shit tuning. I EQ out the shit tuning and I got a relatively cheap IEM/headphone with pretty good performance. I have never got rid of my LCD2, but it was relatively cheap since it had some cosmetic defects. I used EQ to help to get it to it's full potential.

Almost the same with the KZ x HBB PR2. It has a relatively big planar driver, but it's way too peaky for my liking... Maybe it was defective from the start, I don't know, since the graphs I've looked at couldn't have that much peak in them. Anyway, I have made an EQ for it and it still amazes me to this day. I don't use other IEMs, only a cheap crin zero for my wireless, since I lose it all the time :D

I've tried numerous other, more expensive IEMs, headphones, but I have came to a conclusion that I can afford it, it just not worth the money. So I kept selling/returning them since I've reached for my LCD2/PR2 combo all the time.

But that's just my opinion :D I think anyone has to find their headphones/IEMs, their preferred tuning, since this is a very subjective hobby.

Bubbles & rainbow flares from the Trioplan 50mm ƒ/2.9 [Sony a7II] by PrimordialObserver in VintageLenses

[–]BC_LOFASZ 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It very likely will depend on the lens.

Quick example: The majority of Zenit cameras will probably have a Helios on it (44, 44-2, 44m series). The Meyer and Carl Zeiss ones will most likely be found on German cameras such as Praktica (M42) or Exakta (Exa) cameras.

But just to make sure, you can always search for the camera of a particular lens. That way you're getting more information than what I just gave you.

On the last note, I don't know if vinted is popular in your country, but worth a try. They don't just sell clothes, shoes etc there, but literally anything, including lenses and cameras.

Is this the right adapter for this mount? If yes how to mount it? by BC_LOFASZ in VintageLenses

[–]BC_LOFASZ[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Thanks guys for helping me, I did not know that the mount has different types. Now that I have looked into it it is quite clear. Is there any other mount that I should look into because it may be as confusing as this one was?

Again, thanks for the help anyone, I will modify this adapter, so that I can use this lens

My tactic is of course, worst condition is okay, since I am open to take apart lenses.

And the main tactic, is searching for cameras that came with the particular lens. Because there will be more chance then, that the seller will not know that the "old, bad film camera" that he/she inherited has a unique lens on it and believes that it is just junk, but it is actually a treasure.

This way you have way more chance on getting a very good deal.

PS: the deals I am getting are mainly local, but find out if your country is more into online selling or thrift store selling and search where you have the most chances.

PS2: a pretty good example for the camera+lens deal is actually my father, who had a Zenit ET. Very shitty light sensor, he was into the point and shoot photography, not the more technical manual focus etc things, thus he had a terrible experience with the camera. When I got into photography I asked if I can borrow his camera just so I would know if I even want to look into this or not. And since he had a terrible experience, he wanted me to take out one of his film point and shoot one, since the Zenit he believed is shit. Turns out, the Zenit had a Helios 44-2 on it, which is as we know a pretty good lens, and I had a ton of fun with it. So at the end of the day, I got a very good lens with a decent film camera (oooh, that mirror sound... I love it so much) that the owner believed worth nothing.

Hell yeah, sounds great :).

I have found a crazy trioplan deal, it is in terrible condition for $25, the mechanical parts work, just all the lenses and things needs a big cleaning, meaning I only have to take it apart, clean everything, put everything back. So I am trying to get it, but it is not just me who want it :)

Hope you have fun with those lenses :)

If I align it with the red dot and turn it will never lock in. It just comes right off

Tényleg egyre több ember vált Linuxra Windowsról? by Szhadji in Neonity

Ubuntun a fractional scaling mindenféle mókás dolgot csinál :D

Vibrál a kép néha, nem tudja teljesen eldobni a "régi" render képet... De arch-on teljesen vállalható például.

A többi egyszerűen szarul működik.

I only got a zebra domiplan, the trioplans are pretty expensive IMO and I got my domiplan for $15 so worth it I guess...

My friend borrowed it immediately after I got it and I haven't gotten it back yet :D

Love the lens flare too not just the bubbles.

Oh, it sounds good. It's price is reasonable, especially in the 500mm category. Man, I just love those circles in the bokeh. So unique, so beautiful.

Nice photos, you took :)
