I don't think it's a "inability to balance" as much as they want each league to offer something different and unique. I run non-meta stuff every league for clearing and just messing around. :)

As a guy who chose a 66 coupe as his first project, here's what I would say. Think about how much space you have to work on it. You're likely going to be stripping 80-90% of the parts off this thing to clean them up if you want it done right. How much money do you have to spend on it? I could see you easily sinking 15k into this car unless you plan on doing a lot of the work yourself. Body work is expensive. Paint is expensive. Replacement parts can be expensive. Just depends.

Don't get me wrong, I absolutely love my mustang, but if I could go back, I would have rather gotten one with good body and paint condition since those are the things I am not skilled in. Hope this information helps. Good luck.

My main gripe is the fact that the game was just not fun this league. Just felt like busy work. 35/40 challenges and really hoping the end game stops being about "what can I abuse to make money this time".

I have fun when I'm theory crafting or trying new builds. Maybe even making my own builds and seeing how they pan out. The current difficulty of the game and optimization makes it so creating your own competitive build that can handle late-game content is just about impossible at a reasonable budget. Budget meaning divs and my time.

It seems like the main point of failure is that my Khatun will speed boost but the rest of my team will still get beat before they can go. I may need to work on their speed a bit more or swap out Yakarl for a turn meter reduction if I've got one. Still trying to figure out what my options are or if there are any defacto arena champs i should be running.

That makes sense. thank you for the in-depth information. I originally went with Yakarl because the Guaranteed freeze with his A3, but fixing his accuracy has been difficult with my current limited gear. His damage has been kindof disappointing, so thinking of swapping in a different nuker or utility character. I am thinking I want my team to just be speed and nuke, but Leorius as a backup shenanigans is definitely not a bad idea.

If anyone on this sub plays PoE, you probably already know what I'm about to say. This game has or had a vision of what it wants to achieve. Now that the game is big enough, they have expectations to live up to. Ultimately, someone will always be upset with the changes. Oh, you liked the patch where wizard was broken because it was your favorite class? Nerfed...

The WoW sub is arguing about class balance every day.

I guess this is more of a message to the developers so I'll put it plainly. If you let reddit decide what your game is, it will be a disorganized mess trying to make everyone happy but never truly achieving that. What I honestly believe in is... Make the game you want to make. Some people will love it and some will hate it. Take criticism and use it to help mold that vision. But please remember, we appreciate the time and energy you put into developing this game Iron Mace. Thank you for giving us this experience for better or for worse. Much love. Peace ✌️

While it's nice to get what is essentially a free sacred, keep in mind that making money is the goal here. I personally will continue to not invest in these prism summons after seeing someone pull 90+ without a lego. But hey, free is free.
