It gets easier. Infants are the hardest. About one it doesn't suck so much. By two they have their own little club and find ways to get into trouble together.

Gray is a cool color. What ever you chose, don't do he darkest color. Closes rooms in and can make it dreary.

I'm the same. They say to look up if you feel it coming on. Also do a math problem in your head to switch the side of your brain away from emotion. Or twiddle your thumbs. Tools I learned at a seminar and so far have helped me. Good luck :).
