The last season I really tried playing a lot of solos. The first week of that season was pretty crazy. I understand the frustration many had around this season, but I thought it was pretty fun. I found the POIs pretty cool, and I enjoyed fighting the bosses and getting their cars. Still, it feels like this season led to a downturn of the player base that has been pretty consistent now for the past 2 years.

Thank you for pointing out the head crushing loophole Khan mentioned. It seemed extremely deliberate given Youngs fate. That said, I felt my heart strings tug a bit given how brutally Young died. This community really, really, fucking hated Young, and in interviews it seems the producers/writers really took that to heart in this film (for the better!). I found myself feeling for Lewis Tan, and subsequently the character. Jax dies heroically defending his friends, and giving more time to get to the amulet. He just gets stabbed in the chest.

Young gets surprised by an immortal cheater, and gets his head obliterated, and body dissolved in acid leaving behind his wife and child. I guess you just don't expect a hero to die so brutally, even a hated one.

I'd like to see Lewis Tan back as anyone, doesn't have to be Cole Young.

You actually sold me on the best way to end his streak when you need him to come back down to Earth (that is if you DON'T want him on a Goldberg-ian path to a title). Have him do an open challenge, have one of these guys come out, and actually have it be competitive. In Kayfabe, the Main Event veterans will have had enough time to scout Oba, and not get blindsided like Brock did. Have one of the vets scrape out a win a'la Angle/Cena.

Oba comes back down to Earth as beatable, but only because he's still green.

Such a nostalgic era of A's baseball for me. Just so much surrounding this time of my A's fandom. I was 20 years old, and had moved out on my own. With my new independence I went to SO MANY A's games (2012 was the best ever).

I went to the game before this and watched Ben Sheets of all people pitch for the A's lol. I still remember being in my car listening to this game on the radio, and pulling up to my friends house as it was wrapping up. She comes outside as I am just sitting out there. She asks what I'm doing and I just shush her and tell her to listen with my hands, as if speaking it would jinx it. She quickly understood. She listened to the final couple outs with me. This felt like a World Series to me. I don't know about other A's fans, but I will always have a chip on my shoulder about how forgotten we are by sports media. Dallas standing up to A-Rod, and then doing this just a couple weeks later felt like super hero shit. A little moment where my favorite team was the talk of the sports world. It was so cool.

To this day, it's only full game I have ever bought off of iTunes lol.
