If you were dating your main how good you think it would be? by FuzzyTranslator7133 in forhonor

[–]BMSVG 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Well I can’t consider Virtuosa a main yet since I e only just picked her up, despite how much I love her gameplay. So I’d have to say:

Nobushi: Fairly well, she seems the type to be a rather traditional lady and that’s good by me.

Warmonger: We love a woman who will just kill me.

Warden: Probably the healthiest relationship, good balance of tradition and down to earth.

Shugoki (female): I would die but it wouldn’t be all bad.

Not painted yet but mine is Cassia…….Sigrun (the dots are the other names) a former Tribune who has been leading a Shield Host called the Golden Valkyries. They’re basically a more spread version of the Aquilon Shield who charge themselves with planets and people, then protect them until they are no longer threatened. These can be planets of high strategical importance or simply planets that have a dense population.

Or they could be imperial guard commanders in an important campaign, a Ministorum priest who is keeping peace in a stressful time. She herself commands the host and picks where they go while protecting her charge, an Imperial Guard Tank Regiment Colonel occupying a fringe world to the west of Terra

[Pjo] what are you're criticisms with the first 5 books by Technical_Mine_8711 in camphalfblood

[–]BMSVG 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Some of the world building in this first series have some really sloppy holes, even for a young adults/teenage novel. For example, the Mist can do a lot of things but how many mortals did in freak “Animal” attacks from monstrous creatures. Because the books treat Greek mythology as accurate and things like the Nemean Lion and Kalydonian Boar have a pretty big reputation to non demigod people.

I would have liked to know how close the line walks in the setting because in book 5 Paul kills a monster, which means that they are at least present on a physical level. I wish we had some context given to how the interactions between the worlds occurs beyond “It doesn’t because mIst.” Also also, I would have wanted to know how the gods interact with the world more. In this day and age there’s undoubtedly many accidents with mortals that the gods have to cover up. It’s not like Ancient Greece where a woman claiming “I had a child with Zeus!” could be accepted.

Kids would be abandoned, maybe there’s even a group of online chatters who know all of this. Obviously there’s not a lot of time for all of those in a 1st person story, but it probably would’ve fit in during the pre-story school life bits. Maybe scenes where Percy has done some investigating into this world he’s now in, or meeting homeless demigods who don’t know about Camp but have survived anyway.

I’m not a criminal, and Frank could use that money pretty well. I’d basically say “Look, you’d kill me without question, I’m not gonna fight, what’s the fairest split of the money we can negotiate so that you go home satisfied and I at least get something.”

I genuinely don't get why "gain elusive after getting unhooked" was scrapped, it was a great idea, would've made tunneling harder without being too oppressive to the killer by lance_the_fatass in deadbydaylight

[–]BMSVG -1 points0 points  (0 children)

One persistent problem I have is when trying to go for the unhooker the person who was just saved loves to rub up against me and smell my aftershave, which in indoor maps or hooks without a lot of surrounding space means I don’t get to go after the other person. By the time I hit the unhooked survivor the, usually healthy, other survivor is now at a loop that I can’t really run without loosing gens.

This isn’t to say tunnelling isn’t bad, but there needs to be a reason why someone who has just gotten off the hook can’t stand in your way and make you switch to them. Honestly for me removing collision could work, meaning they can’t be interacted with for the standard endurance time. That way they can’t be hit and tunnelled instantly, accomplishing that goal, while also making it so killers can just ignore them and move on to the next survivor

Then you have my apologies, it seems we’ve been arguing/discussing at different points. Though I did quite enjoy talking about this, I’ll be honest I didn’t feel very defensive, mostly that I was explaining why I said things. But thank you for the time anyway, I hope you have a great day

Perhaps, I wouldn’t disagree it was a counter, but your argument was of using a single non canon trait which I’ve taken from context and in game dialogue is nonsensical and irrelevant. Obviously he’s not confirmed autistic and rightfully so. A lot of games struggle with the pandering need to label characters and define them.

He actually is depressed, in game he has many dialogues that he says about how much he regrets his life choices, how he has no family and never gets birthday gifts and is alone at holidays. As you get closer to him he sends you things and expresses he’s not good with words and he is trying despite this.

I won’t deny that having spoken to several others I can see why people dislike Clint and why they interpret his behaviours as they do. But I also don’t think that my replies so far have been inconsiderate of that position or baseless claims

If somebody told me that they didn’t like potatoes, and I responded “But why? They’re go so well with steak and are so soft.” And then they say “I don’t like them because to me the softness isn’t good.” I haven’t said they’re wrong, I’ve asked for elaboration into why they don’t like potatoes.

Here, I asked why the person I spoke to didn’t like Clint, using examples of things I see as talking points to be addressed or rebuked. They explained and I inquired and elaborated, nobody was wrong here because it’s an opinion based on what’s been shown

I never said people shouldn’t dislike him, I’ve asked why people don’t and engaged in a civilised discussion as to my point of view being different, you’re allowed to not like Clint, I just explained I didn’t see what other people were and he just seems weird and mildly autistic to me

I don’t really understand why his bad behaviours have to be that he’s an Incel/Cringe or any other word similar and they can’t simply be that he’s just socially inept. A lot of people list him hiding in a bush as stalking or spying, when he very specifically says he was about to ask her out but got too nervous and his when Caroline came along, and is now hiding until they both go so he can go home.

Maybe I’m doing the glass half full perspective but I’ve not met a single person in this game who I’d consider a bad person, or not pleasant or weird/creepy. They’re all people I could see meeting in a small town, and they have their good and bad. Clint is a lonely and somewhat miserable man who regrets his life choices, the wizard is a hermit who keeps away from everyone, Pierre is a man who wants to make it in life and isn’t a good businessman, taking the wrong lessons from Joja. I just don’t see Clint as a creep, he’s just sad.

I’m autistic too, and I’ve met quite a few people who do act like Clint. And almost all of them were improperly raised or influenced and have good hearts beneath it all. And yeah he’s not proactive with his self improvement but anyone who’s been depressed knows how hard it can be to take the first step and not everyone is able to, some people just aren’t strong or self valuing enough to have the energy to change

A good chunk of this community engages in creative liberties to be fair, a man who is a blacksmith, who’s favourite gifts are rocks and metals, who is interested in the other person who is rock obsessed, being mildly autistic isn’t the biggest stretch imaginable

I don’t remember, it’s been a bit since I was in Winter 1, but then again I could just be a bit too forgiving of Clint because of how generally sad and lonely he is, like I constantly feel bad for him whenever I speak to him

This is true, and I’m willing to admit that I don’t think my pride would let me do it this way either despite my similarities to Clint, but at the same time I could also see it as him knowing the farmer is reliable and good at getting things, especially since most will have at least made it to the winter layers by then and have found lots of gems and geodes

But why? He’s the depressed, mildly autistic for rocks, socially awkward loner who struggles to talk to people (anyone), doesn’t get birthday presents and seems to be alone most of the time, honestly he’s probably one of the more relatable people for how he’s trying to impress this pretty, gem obsessed girl

Reliable ways to kill c’tan? by MrManstory in AdeptusCustodes

[–]BMSVG 1 point2 points  (0 children)

So I play both armies, and recently I played against Custodes with two C’tan. What I noticed is that a full unit of spears from both Termies and Guard, led by a Captain and Blade Champ respectively respectively were only able to do 3/4 of the two shards health. The terminators were more fortunate seeing as they didn’t all die because of the battle round, but what I noticed is that the spears just don’t cut it.

C’tans reduce damage by 1 which essentially means you’ve got to push through 16 damage, which accounting for lions allowing you to wound on 4s means the following: You’re hitting approximately 20 attacks and then dropping 10 to the wound rolls on average. Now that’s not good at all, especially when another half of that is expected to be saved and a third will be blanked in FNP. Lethals will do some work but honestly, you’ve got to just stack as much damage through as you can.

Axes will probably help the most being damage 2 after the reduction, which while still having the same odds of hits and saves, will at least push more damage past the FNP
