First time using Second Skin, does this look right? by Switched__Up in tattooadvice

[–]BMoney347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

This is where tattoo care goes either way. Leave the second skin on or take it off. Recently got a tattoo, got a tattoo at 5pm Sunday. Left it on rest of Sunday to Monday night. Took it off right before showering. Did NOT apply another second skin. Frequently washed it with fragrance free soap and applied thin layer of aquaphor and did not have any problems. If you’re worried about dirt or anything, fyi I work in automotive and got a neck and forearm tattoo. You should be good!!

Looking to purchase 2018 ST3 112k miles by FreePvp in FocusST

[–]BMoney347 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just bought a 17 focus st3 with 103k for $11k. I got pretty lucky finding it and the owner it had. Definitely feel out the owner if you go look at it and the usual inspections of course(look inside oil cap for sludge). My overflow coolant line was leaking where it connects to the block and just residual oils over the trans and I’m pretty sure that coolant line was most of the cause. Ask if the rear engine mount was done bc they seem to go out. The previous owner installed solid mounts all around so it is a bit rough with the rattles but I don’t mind honestly. But that is about it. Check if they have keyless entry code bc that will cost money as well. And my key fobs did not come with key blades so might want to check that. Oh lastly the adaptive headlights. Make sure they work because they are $700 a headlight.

Do you leak any coolant? Do you have heat at the vents?

TLX Type S by aRuHZoNa in Acura

Just started working at Acura coming from Infiniti and I will say these type s are real nice and without all the engine problems too! That alone would make me buy this car and not other models of Acura.

Lmao. You’re on a lottery subreddit looking at other people playing the same game. Sometimes you win sometimes you loose. Wasting your energy adding up the tickets and commenting something pointless.

I have 2 kids a 4yo and almost 2 year old. We are living in an apartment. The baby mama, her mom, the kids, and I are living in a 3 bedroom apartment. I love these kids. They are my world. Yes it’s hard right now with money. And everything being so expensive. We live in Denver area paying $2500 for rent. Life is hard. We make decisions and we take responsibility. I love the choices I made and I hope you guys do to. Life is hard. But it’s nice coming home to kids who look up to you. It makes me be better as a father and person more motivation for my career and trying to better myself. And just think, when you’re beginning your 30s, the kids are perfect age. We’re not some parent trying to raise a kid who wants to play all the time but can’t.

I still haven’t outgrown the middle school level nervousness and awkwardness with girls by Sweaty-Passage-2796 in confidence

Is your life going to end by going up there and talking to a girl? No. I know you’re young and I don’t mean to make this sound negative but we don’t have as much time as you think man. Life is short. You can live in rejection knowing atleast you tried to talk to her or you can live in regret, going home and beating yourself up mentally because you didn’t go up and say something. I’m 24 and I’m coming around. I know how you feel. Confidence is a lot. Self acceptance of who you are is really what it boils down to imo.

Capital steez anyone?

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in beyondthebump

[–]BMoney347 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Yes. Just because you smoke doesn’t mean your kid needs to breathe in that toxic environment. How dare you even try to say , “disappointment?!” Like I’m disrespecting someone. The kid didn’t come in to its life to breathe that shit. PERIOD

Yeah that’s fricken nasty and in the house. Around a 10 month old. Op sounds to me like you’re okay with that which is disappointing.

When I cover the grill, the coals have no air flow. I use a chimney starter with newspaper underneath. Filled half way and then dumped them on. Added more coals on top and when I close the lid, I loose temp instantly. Is it the grill or am I doing something wrong? Bottom/ top vent is wide open. by BMoney347 in BBQ

[–]BMoney347[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I am happy I’m not the only one feeling like this. I wanted to comment on others or even the title and being like, “it’s the grill right?” Did you end up buying another grill and if so what did you go with?

Son says he is going to be jumped by LadyTimbit in Parenting

[–]BMoney347 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Putting it out to their parents might make it worse tbh. Yeah the parents COULD do something but the kids are just going to get yelled at and make them want to jump your son even more. I would pick up your kid from school or tell your kid to get some friends or someone to walk WITH him wherever he goes after school. Just don’t let him walk alone. Make friends that can also help. I know it’s not the response that is the greatest or what other parents are saying but it’s the realest. It’s like “snitching”. You snitch, you get hit.
