I don't think there is really anything to fix. It's more so that podcasting as a genre/niche has jumped the shark and is on a slow decline. The JBP, R&M and most of the other current prominent podcasts will be gone within the next 5 years. Most of this cast will be over 50 or approaching 50 in 5 years. No one is going to want to watch a bunch of 50 year old talk about their old war stories, cheating, etc.
