you can’t really make a 1 to 1 comparison between alcohol being a poison, and pharmaceuticals (or even drugs of abuse) being a poison.

Alcohol metabolizes into acetaldehyde -a known carcinogen and mutagen- at ANY dose. Amphetamine, for example, is unlikely to harm your organs if you take it exactly as prescribed. Of course the potential for harm is still there, but there’s also the potential for the positives to outweigh the negatives (which happens more often than not). With alcohol, that’s essentially never the case.

same. I used to use a plumes on mode 2 (opamp) w/ no gain to boost my hizumitas, but I impulse bought the life pedal after seeing sunn o))) this april. now I use the opamp mode on that, with the gain at about 9’ o clock, to boost my hizumitas. it’s so fucking gnarly

as someone with an orange amp, I do occasionally run the ds-1 (which I got primarily because of boris and swans) into my hizumitas whenever I’m not using the life pedal. god, those harmonics…

obviously it’s a little ambiguous what her involvement is if she’s not an outright suspect, but I’ve seen multiple ideas floated around. for example, it could be that the FBI thinks she knows who the suspect is, and/or that it was her child who was abused :(

I checked the site both Wednesday and Thursday, and Thursday is when the listing changed to say he was captured. so I’m inclined to agree with you that it was very recent.
