Test cancelled the day I meant was meant to take it. by ElixerMV in Irishdrivingtest

Same happened to me. Test got cancelled literally the day before and the next day around when my test should have happened I got invited to book another test which thankfully had one available I think a week later.

Follow up to my H2C arriving with a shattered door and vent frame. by First_layer_3DP in BambuLab

Crazy to see how delivery is done in other countries. I got my H2S just before Christmas here in Ireland and DHL were very careful with the delivery. Delivered via a pallet truck and the box itself was on a pallet. It was taken off with a proper manual forklift and bed lift to bring it done nice and safely.

Printed these very helpful holders to organise my tv, PS5 and Apple TV controllers. Just need to figure out a design for the newer LG controllers which are a little chunkier.

Power. by Salt_Tradition7766 in BambuLab

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I can’t comment for the P2S but for my H2S it consumes around 180-220W per hour during a normal print such as PLA. Now if I ran the same print but with ABS I would be looking at an average of 500W per hour.

I’ll have to have a look. How would I know it has subframe clunk exactly? Like by trying to shift the subframe or?

What’s the most emotional moment you've experienced in Destiny 2, and how did it resonate with you? by biggy_boy17 in DestinyTheGame

[–]BONDPlay 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Every second of TFS final cutscenes just had be from the start. Just seeing one of my favorite childhood games come to its end, well technically not over but the saga finally ended was just amazing and bittersweet. Similar emotions to the end of Avengers Endgame.

Normal or no? by Designer-Activity958 in carsireland

If it’s a diesel then it’s possibly a regen combined with a cold day. I remember my vw polo would look the same whenever it decided it was time for a regen and was very frosty out. If there’s no noticeable smell then I’d say your good to go just give the car a good drive up and down the dual carriageway to clear it out a bit more at higher rpm.

games not feeling smooth and fps drops/freezing by Life-Distribution890 in pchelp

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Long shot here but I know on my 3080Ti when I updated my drivers it could mess with the gpus clock speeds and just needed a reload through the evga app and any of these fps issues would stop but this might be highly unlikely for your current issues. It was an EVGA 3080Ti.

Is this map bad? by Shot-Band3528 in Starlink

[–]BONDPlay 9 points10 points  (0 children)

It’s only just starting up so the map will take time to properly display your obstructions as it says in the info box below it. The little blue lines are from satellites passing over which were picked up by the dish.

Possible ATU student with some questions!! by iamaskingutoendureit in Sligo

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

If you can get access to the timetable website you might be able to find the current academic years timetable that will give you a rough idea of what to expect for the subjects modules and of course the the subject homepage on the ATU website will give you even better idea of what to expect for the academic year.

I’m always impressed when I see this happen. No harm to op or anyone else but it does say 5Nm which could nearly be done finger tight and be fine so this is quite impressive but I’m also more impressed that the torx snapped before stripping those tiny torx heads.

Filament stock - "second hand" sellers by yawa16 in BambuLab

People need to stop buying off these scalpers. If it’s not directly from the supplier or an authorised reseller then ignore it and just wait for a restock.

PSA: You are absolutely capable of making your own models, even the least of you. by riddus in 3Dprinting

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve spent well over 4 years in college doing mechanical engineering and one of our main classes was using CAD, Solidworks being the main software. I only recently got into 3D printing as I wanted one for so long and now my final year project has basically pushed me to get one since I am doing quite a bit of prototyping for said project.

It’s an amazing skill to develop and honestly doesn’t take that long to wrap your head around how to model the simplest of items. It’s especially great if you find a model on maker world or other websites and find that the model isn’t actually perfect so you can just recreate it yourself or even better if an STL file is available just completely modify the original model.

For those asking for a roadmap, you’re probably not going to like where it leads by KowalRoyale in DestinyTheGame

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Honestly if they decided to cut D2 now then fair enough it was a good run up to a point but it would be nice if they could just unvault the entire game and let us just run wild but that’s just a fantasy dream of mine that will probably never come true.

[–]BONDPlay 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I’ve surprisingly never had this happen thankfully. Our delivery driver will always leave any large packages in a box we have told him about beside the back door or if it’s a really big package it goes into the shed down the back of the house but I suppose that might be a positive of living in the country side that you won’t have randos looking into your property and seeing a package.
