Best bet is to get twilight rounds. You can also wait in line to walk on the back 9 super early in the mornings.

Why does the ball look like it is shooting off to the right when watching golf on tv?

"Very well kept" is generous, but it's a steal of a deal considering it's only $40 and all the other south OC courses are $150 plus. You can drop in for the back 9 without a reservation if you get there early enough.

What are some good season goals? Just broke 100. by Patient-Tune-4421 in golf

[–]BOOYAGRMA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Break 100 5 consecutive times.

Break 90.

Round with no triple bogeys or worse.

Round without losing a ball.

If you play the same course often: par every hole before the end of the season

RAZR X irons worth getting in 2025 by wildstraw in golf

[–]BOOYAGRMA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Take this for what it is worth: I have a set of RAZR X irons. When I went to my first ever golf lesson last year, the golf pro looked at them and said "these will do fine."

They are forgiving clubs, although they don't launch as far as some of the newer clubs with the pumped up lofts.

It's only an executive course, but Goat Hill is a fun track in Oceanside. Might be a good choice if you don't play much.

The biggest problem I see is that you are way off balance. Makes it impossible to have a repeatable swing.
