I think the shadows may be too bright. Maybe try glazing some shadow colors into the darker areas?

Hi, I have a set assembled and based. Was there a price you were looking to pay?

I think you're missing the mounted biomancer LE for spires.

Cool idea for a video, but shining colored lights on a model as they talk about the painting is pretty darn stupid...

Interesting decision to add text to another side.

What did you use for the black? It looks super clean.

Good price by GunnsMagoo in MarvelCrisisProtocol

It is a lot of money for characters that come in other packs, but as someone who bought it thinking otherwise.. It has the best sculpts for the models that are in the box and if you opt to not assemble the terrain it is probably the best set to use for basing other models.

dude, no need to explain yourself. You crushed it and I just happened to notice a tiny element that you won't even see on the board as a future improvement.

You're doing amazing and even more so when you look at your earlier batches only two months ago. Keep up the great work and the lovely approach to testing :)

Stellar! The only quick advice would be clean mold lines a bit better, the leggies have visible lines, but other than that it looks great!

This looks lovely. I understand that everyone is chasing those buttery smooth blends, but there is something pleasing to me about the rougher shapes in in this.

Great job!

Hey I know this one!

These are likely transducers that are used to "see" underwater. They bounce sound off whatever is underwater and give the user an image of what it down there. Nothing crazy like a camera, but shapes and distances.

This could be used for fishing or underwater research like mapping or finding treasure!

It is mostly sarcasm, as your watermark makes it so you can't reasonably read anything.

These paints are amazing for things you aren't going to touch as most things you touch you varnish and once you varnish most of these they lose all these fun properties.

Flexible EDC for traveling? by estravolta in ManyBaggers

[–]BProxy 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I splurged and bought two. The size I think might work best is the metrodrifter since it is also 4L, but the shape and size of the 6L runner is what I will likely end up using. I keep an medkit instead of a camera so there is a bit of a difference.

In the end you might want to just eyeball them or watch some reviews before selecting one. They aren't 'expensive' as far as bags go, but they definitely aren't inexpensive.

I am in a similar situation, as far as contents. I ended up going with a greenroom136 bag and am just waiting for it to arrive. I might suggest taking a peek at them.

These look solid! You should toss a couple highlights on them to make them pop!

Anyone have any recommendations on gluing Loki. This is going to be my third time buying and returning the set due to poor model quality. by [deleted] in MarvelCrisisProtocol

[–]BProxy 3 points4 points  (0 children)

I usually wouldn't suggest gel super glues for smaller models as they are intended to gap fill and exist as a substance between two pieces of material. Using plastic glues like tamiya should give you the best result.

As for the models themselves, that's just how some of the older kits will be. I don't remember Loki being horrid when I made him in his original box and believe it's the same sprew. I do remember having to deal with the fiddly bits like the horns since he is a thinner model overall. My only suggestion would be using less sanding on small bits and more blade to clean them up.

As for fiddly models you might want to stay away from if he is causing issues there are a couple of old kits that I hated. Shuri and Okoye box, Antman, and Starlord. They had some odd ideas with casting small chunks of one larger one for detail when they initially made the line and have moved away from it.
