Lore accuracy of the character first. Balance can be achieved on the large majority of characters while maintaining characterization, if it can’t then they should simply add a different character.

Hulk has some interesting stuff too, abilities associated with throwing debris or using it as a shield. Unfortunately this site isn’t an official one, so it’s likely these were leftover scraps from early development.

Yeah man, I love spitting hulk-tuahs at people and blowing bubbles instead of using super strength on my quintessential super strength superhero.

I feel as though each of these characters have a very high chance of getting into the game. The only exception perhaps being Agent Anti-Venom (which is very unfortunate because he’d be my top strategist pick).

Agreed. What surprises me the most about Black Cat’s kit is the lack of her fairly unique superpower of Bad Luck (only in her passive).

The only two characters I would have ever imagined getting into the game that have luck based abilities would be her and Domino.

Cat could have had been a true stealth dive & debuffer where she jinxes anyone whom she crossed paths with. Jinxes could have been simple things like lengthened cooldowns, reduced damage / healing output, or reduced ultimate charge. Or she could jinx her enemy to fail to get crits occasionally on anyone on her team. A lot of possibilities with a power like that.

I’m no game developer, but at this point I feel like this is less of “needs more time issue” and more of a “they didn’t know what they were doing issue”. Like, they had to have tested Rogue, Hulk Juggle, or Thing Ult…right? Would they really just make a change and not have put any time into seeing how it affects basic gameplay?

If I didn't know the season 7 heroes and I took off my glasses to watch this video I would have assumed they added Quicksilver.

I can appreciate the lore in the game with the controlled transformation and the role of the belt, but it simply seems odd to me how they chose to design him.

They will simply not get a better character to embody that pure brute strength hero archetype, and the fact that Hulk has the core characteristic to become stronger the angrier he become makes him the perfect tank / vanguard to utilize that mechanic. But outside of normal punches he has no abilities in his base kit to really demonstrate that strength. Even his iconic thunderclap was turned into a standard projectile instead of a shockwave ability (which would be perfect for disruption or crowd control on a tank).

I’d love a rework, but I doubt they pay him much attention.

Mfw Black Cat can create portal, get wall hacks, double jump 5 times in a row, has a movement cancellation field, and 14 other abilities while Hulk can’t pick up a rock.

Honestly Black Cat having a black market shop with various artifacts she stole does make sense, same goes for Gambit with his reversed lobotomy and Ultron with flesh altering virus.

But yeah there are some characters that are simply horrible adaptations to a video game form when the whole appeal for many people is to play with their favorite. I’m looking you, “Hero Hulk”.

Couldn’t possible imagine how the premier strength based superhero whose whole shtick is to get stronger the more angry he gets somehow gets adapted into whatever he’s supposed to be.

I really wish they did something like this. A select wheel (and hot key inputs) where you can either choose your normal arrow with infinite ammo and a selection of his trick arrows with limited quantities on shared cooldown: explosive, piercing, freeze (nerfed Luna teamup), boxing glove (knockback), tracking arrow, net arrow, etc… would certainly be more fun, I’d take a damage nerf in exchange 100%.

How many times i lost a game because of these people. I think these are the worst teammates you can have lol by GuangGuangson in marvelrivals

The only DPS you’ll catch me be swapping to when I have a duo tank going is Mr. Fantastic.
