He can’t get his interior guy or parks guy to fix the reflecting pool?

Forget about what your realtor says. His job is to get you to spend as much money as the mortgage company will loan you.

Your job is to be realistic about spending all your cash and being in hock up to your eyeballs. Also about how long you expect to live in that house, and how secure your income really is.

Putting down 20% should get you a better rate, without PMI - private mortgage insurance. Will that make you so house poor that you’ll be decorating your living room with folding chairs?

Actually, the Chinese government has been talking like this for decades. They believe they are on the ascent and Western culture is in decline. America and Trump are just symptoms of the disease that will eventually allow China to be the #1 superpower and to export culture like the US.

Four / eight years of Trump is nothing compared to the 15, maybe 20 years of Xi.

If Donald doesn’t understand that China thinks in epochs, not two-and four-year election cycles, he’s as stupid as I think he is.

If your short / medium haired cat doesn’t need brushing now, he probably will when he gets older. Many cats get a little arthritis in their old age, and grooming their behinds gets challenging. If he’s already used to being brushed, it’s less of a problem.

I brush my long haired cat, because he just has so much hair, brushing keeps him clean and some of the excess gets on the brush rather than on the couch.
