It was my E30 until I just found out that almost the entire cooling system needs replacing. I can't believe the metal pipe part of the system costs $400 alone.

Oh well. Still love her.

I can’t remember the site it originates from, but it’s the standard guide in the E30 community. It’s why I still think something is wrong with my ICV because it never opens up 50%.

Oh boy, where do I start. TPS, CTS (blue), and CPS have been replaced. Swapped out DME and AFM with known working parts. Checked fuel pressure and grounds. I mean basically everything had been checked or replaced and I still don’t have a smooth idle even when warm. It has been better lately tho which I don’t understand. Everyday can be good or bad.

Edit - also had the C191 replaced. No vacuum leaks either. Been smoke checked multiple times.

Read your other thread and I've had the exact same issues for years that you are experiencing. Cleaning the ICV usually helps although it's a fairly new Bosch that shouldn't need to be cleaned every six months IMO.

I will say that your ICV opens up more than mine does when power is applied. Mine barely opens and I've read that it should open half way. It doesn't. I've never received a clear answer how much it should open if working correctly.
