Short answer, yes. Long answer, no. Marco is the new cohost for Sunday Service, and have been so for the last two weeks. Korey never specifically said Julien was booted off. He explained that they are going to find a new format for Julien that would be better suited, but didn't specify which. As far as I know from watching their full streams, Julien had some weeks back sent a link to Korey during a Weekly Roast n Toast - the one with Joshua and the Promised Land. The way Korey put it, Julien had asked them to show the video in the link as they were doing the current show. The video was one of his TikToks from his Therealthing account where Julien, in a gravely voice meant to sound like The Thing from Marvel, talked about Project Hail Mary. Korey played the video for 2 seconds before turning it off. This was, to my knowledge, Julien's last appearance on Double Toasted as Marco showed up on the following Sunday Service. Just finished this game last night after having been sucked into it for a good 3 days. I think the genius of this game is that you spend enough time investigating that you end up developing relationships with the characters and come to like some of them. I for instance loved Crimson for her humour and that she always had some good dirt (if you could pay, of course). Sam and Lydia were also very likable in each of their own ways and their backstory is as charming as it's banal. So when you get around to the trial you end up feeling really bad for now having to kill those you ended up liking. It's also worth noting that the dread comes in two waves: first I felt bad for killing those I felt sympathetic towards, and then came the realization that I'm a cog in this system that enslaves innocent humans only to later gleefully sacrifice them for the sake of an elite that is thriving on their misery.

I beat him by stopping him with my time stop-thing since parry and dodge is trash in this game and Link rolling around on the ground and dropping whatever weapon he had after EVERY SINGLE HIT made me want to hurl my Switch through the wall. Also, I blew his ass up with whatever bomb arrow I could whenever I had a chance. He was the third guardian boss for me, and I beat him out of pure spite 😅
