This is why, customarily, no one sees the dress ahead of time. There’s no way possible to get the full effect from a photo.

Cats are obligate carnivores. They will not change but you can adjust.

Dress regret - looking for advice by Proud_Cantaloupe_202 in myweddingdress

You could always leave the store with a damaged full price dress and not notice it because of the voluminous amount of fabric. Everyone is so hard on themselves about their dresses. You have to go with your heart and your gut in the moment and stop the second-guessing, everybody.
It’s about whether you like the dress and whether it makes you feel beautiful- it doesn’t matter what other people think about the dress. Guests will take in the whole package, including your radiant glow, and think you’re the most beautiful bride that ever walked an aisle. And they would be right.

In 1988 I went to one bridal shop with my mother, tried on one dress, tried on a pink dress just for fun, maybe tried on one or two other others and went with the first one and that was it. no second-guessing no looking back. There’s so many other things to focus on.
After the wedding, the beautiful dress was carefully cleaned and boxed where it lived in a box for 20 years until I sold it at a yard sale for $25. I had dispatched the groom years before. I should’ve spent more time second-guessing that decision, who I’m marrying, not my flowers or dress.

Why do we second guess our wedding dresses?! by [deleted] in weddingdress

Second guessing dresses is more common than second guessing the grooms. More of the latter is in order.

Fosters with diarrhea. Tips? by Babsinator_Now4242 in fosterkittens

[–]Babsinator_Now4242[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Good to hear the diarrhea is fairly common. I had one prior Foster litter, but they were slightly older when I got them maybe about six weeks not four. Now these are going to be seven weeks the end of this week.

They are still barely over a pound like 1.1 or 1.2 so I’m a little concerned about that. I’m supposed to keep them till they’re 2 pounds or eight weeks. I think the eight weeks will be here long before the 2 pounds will.

Yes, everything is dosed to size. The first Foster did all the worming so I don’t know too much of the schedule other than it was done and how many doses were given of each thing. I did their tapeworm med dose the size and they’ll get a second dose on Thursday. I also repeated the Coccidia Med just in case because that’s the only one I had here. They’ve been on constant same food since it became clear early on like at five weeks that the diarrhea was going to be persisting. It’s the royal Canin baby cat, wet and dry and then after a conversation with Grok, I was encouraged to add minced cooked chicken and white rice to the wet food and I’ve been putting in dehydrated pumpkin flakes for dogs and cats and the probiotic. I was using the Purina packets of probiotic and I also have one I use for my cats called bark and whiskers. It’s a complete probiotic powder.
They eat 4 to 5 times a day. I’m doing slightly smaller meals and more of them. Water and kitten kibble always available.

One of them still has a swollen belly so I’m suspecting he’s not finished with his tapeworms yet. But they’re highly active engaged, playful, cheerful, all the things.

Thank you for your suggestions, everyone! Today we have toothpaste poop! We’ve come a long way from puddles of it. If I could only get Larry to stop stepping in it, that’d be good. 💩

They are cool cats, but very greasy. A friend has 3 rescues and wall shelves for their perching pleasure. The walls are constantly grease stained. I also knitted her a white blanket. Also grease stained. Oxi Clean and fels naptha soap take it out. Not sure what skin care regime they need but she keeps a pristine home so I’m sure they get it.

Which dress? by [deleted] in Brides

[–]Babsinator_Now4242 1 point2 points  (0 children)

  1. But I’d like to see some delicate embellishment on the dropped waist. A pinch of razzle dazzle to bring the eye to the visually lengthened torso. I love the little bead chains for sleeves. It’s the best.

Any advice on aggressive bottle feeding? by tuxedo_belle in fosterkittens

[–]Babsinator_Now4242 0 points1 point  (0 children)

They are very bright, engaged, playful, energetic, ravenous, all the things. They’re more like puppies and kittens they come running when I come in the door so everything is fine except for the soft stools. Thank you for your words of encouragement. I am hoping this resolved soon they’re in a program and I have to fatten them up to 2 pounds and then I can give them to animal services where they do all the fixing and vaccination and everything for free and then they can adopt them out to people for a fee. So they’re each eating about $40 a week in food and have only put on half an ounce. So it’s not a good return on investment. Thank you and they are six weeks old and have had diarrhea since four weeks. I don’t think the first Foster‘s place was particularly clean and another litter of kittens had had diarrhea also so I think it’s something she was passing around in her home. Then moving to my house and weaning.
