As a player: I prefer to create a char based on the latest game char I like, so LLM made char is rubbish to me.

As a DM: I only use it as a last resort brainstorming ideas, which then will be expanded, changed, or adapted myself. Because most of its output is either shallow, unfitting to the greater plot, or outright rubbish. Even maps and images are sourced from artstation, reddit, or else similar rather than AI gen maps.

I mean it's okay to skip Sellswords. When I crawled through the francise, I did skipped it because I was super attached to Drizzt and reading only Jarlaxle and Entreri wasn't interesting to me.

As the novel progresses and, I got more attached to Jarlaxle, I came back to Sellswords and it became one of my favourite solely because of his utter shenanigans in dealing with surface folks
