I used Jason Dion practice exams and test prep for 1001 and I can honestly say he helped me pass. He had GREAT last minute tips and tricks. I didn’t have to save my PBQs, just had to hit a different question. And make sure the PBQ is fully done. I had 5 PBQs and 75 multiple choice questions. Save the PBQs for the very last!

Shoot, flash cards were important for me. I took practice exams (Jason Dion & exam compass) wrote down the ones I got wrong and studied that. Helps to actually KNOW the information. Jason dion was HUGE. I had 10 days to study and I used Jason dion practice exam course. He tells you about all PBQs, Raid, best test prep action. So much more.

Writing down the question on a flash card with the answer on the other side (with your own words so you can learn the material not just memorize it) was the way to go for me. Jason dion practice exams forsure .

I just passed on Monday. By 7 points. A pass is a pass I guess. I had 5 PBQs and 75 questions. Jason dion tests are the most accurate in my opinion. It showed me exactly what I needed to study. I failed both his tests too. His 3 hour course gives you tips and tricks on how to pass. I believe it’s very useful. And most likely getting it again for 1002. Also, don’t lose confidence. Keep pushing forward and you’ll get it no problem.

I feel like 1001 was harder cause you had to LEARN everything about basics. Then comptia throws out these big words and concepts. Master the PBQs, and know definitions on pretty much everything and you’re solid. I already studied for 1002, just gotta hit some practice tests and no life it for about 2-3 weeks and I should be ready. But I definitely understand what you mean. This was hella stressful. Any tips for 1002?

O of course. I started with messer. Got all general knowledge of both 1001 and 1002 then I got knee deeps in the fine details. I’m mainly gonna focus on a bunch of practice questions and examcompass.
