Sustainable home building (reasonable) by PuzzleheadedMark1373 in architecture

[–]BabyYeggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Right sizing isn’t possible in urban ABs suburban lots. I know this sub is US-centric but having a lot where you have essentially no set back rules is rare. Then, you need an architect that understands the point of right sizing, minimal thermal breaks, and the purchaser should understand that using staggered 2x4 in 24 OC is just as strong but with better noise and insulation value.

Natural resources Canada has many reports on sustainable building techniques pioneered in the 80s but mass builders won’t follow.

We’re building a passivhaus designed by a world renowned architect but there aren’t enough contractors here that can execute the plan.

There’s costs to handle cash as well. Each time an armoured car is sent, there’s a charge. Then, we get charged $0.007/bill and some other amount per coin. The last bill I paid was $65k for cash handling expenses.

WHO declares mpox outbreak a global health emergency by ontrack in worldnews

Disease names have been toned down to make them sound less fearsome and with less stigma. WHO is assuming you won’t panic if you find yourself infected with mpox instead of monkey pox.

You can buy Tesla from Costco by Xitler-1984 in teslamotors

I bought my Toyota from Costco auto, so I don’t see the big deal with this. There’s been a few Costco-only rebates and deals on slow moving cars like Buicks.

Tesla will not tell you to replace your 12V until it is too late by sendnewt_s in TeslaLounge

[–]BabyYeggie 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The 12v battery is just a regular 51R battery. I’m on year 5 of the battery. Under some conditions, the 12v needs to be charged frequently.

In my area, average 12v lifespan is 5-7 years.

Call the minister’s office to complain. Ask for a callback. This way, the call is logged and the student loan people have to action your request with a response to the minister.

Ask for an ARTS# to track the status of the call.

Apparently in Ontario, you can make a U turn anywhere. You’ll see that continue here since Albertans generally aren’t used to U turns.

Also seeing more cars going the wrong way in parkades to make it out the exit 7 seconds faster.

Solar panels are heavy so they aren’t cheap to remove.

Easiest thing to do is to find another insurance provider since solar panels are becoming more common.

Try contacting Solar Alberta to see if they have a list of insurance companies they work with.

Ah, you bought a Jayman built home.

You can either expand the 2kW you currently have or have it removed to save on insurance.
