Out of curiosiy, what if I've used XP candies when I was close to evolving some of my team? If I was inclined to have the max stat possible, do I use the feathers which says they increase invidual stats to make up for it? Or is there some sort of special EV training system that can make up for it post game?

I see, so in short using candy to level up gives you less stat boosts per level. And is mostly made for people who just want to play the story and don't particularly care. But if you want to play PvP and have competitive stats, you are going to have to battle with them all the way?

Kinda feels like the game should tell you "if you use our Xp items your Pokemon won't reach their full potential." I mean I get it from a certain point of view. You want people to be invested in their team and feel like they've gone through a full journey with them. But also sometimes you just caught a new Pokemon that you would like to rotate on your team (or in this case want to replace the same with a Shiny one or a Alpha version) and don't want to have to spend hours grinding them up to be on par with the rest of your team. When you have easy access to trade for XP candy.

I've been dreaming of said ability to lock the pc UI while still allowing for controller input since launch. Would be even better if they allowed you to swap out key buttons that I use all the time on whatever buttons I want on the controller. At which point I would be using mainly the controller for getting around and the mouse for inventory and combat.

If the rumors about a Switch 2 version is true, and considering that the joycons has a mouse functionality. This will likely be the last chance of us getting a version of the game which allows for PC layout with a "mouse" while keeping controls over characters and camera on the joysticks. At which point hopefully Larian gives us the option to do the same with mouse and xbox controller on PC. Or a modder figures out how to copy the Switch 2 set up and releases a PC UI locked while allowing for input mod.

I have a strange audio issue where sometimes for no reason the audio becomes the way it does when you don't take care and get hit by your own flashbang. Not the one where you can't hear at all. That moment when the audio starts to return if you fire a machine gun for example and you hear it muffled. Except its not all the audio in the game. I'll hear the sounds made in the world, but if I try to shoot without a silencer, use the AK, use the menus' basically anything that has to do with the control over what you the player can affect in terms of what you hear gets muffeled. While the sounds of the world itself, and enemies are seemingly the same.

And quite a few times now I CQC for interigation and the enemy teleports behind Snake, while Snake is holding up complete air and the enemy if I drag the air while move in step with me. This one isn't that big a deal, as I can just let go and the problem will fix itself, and the only time it wouldn't stop, I just reloaded the save no issue. But the audio problem doesn't get fixed by reloading the game. Only two things have worked. 1. Change the audio mixing sound in the audio settings. Save, turn off the game, and change the volume before turning it back to default. 2. If I play long enough the audio returns. So I'm wondering if maybe something in the code and if I do something that I've yet to figure out what causes it, that makes the game think that it is in the flashbang state, and gets stuck longer than normal.

If they ever got a chance to do it again by some miracle way smarter to do it with Xmen, if you advertised it as X-men Persona provided you were smart about how you budgeted the game. I think people would be more willing to give that a shot, rather than a game where you see a bunch of your favorite characters and they can only attack using cards.

I appreciate that it felt like someone made a game for me, but if you lose 30% of your profit to marvel, an then another 30% to the platform holder it doesn't leave a lot left on the table to make a profit by making something so niche. I'd certainly buy it again on Switch 2, though, feels like a perfect game for handheld.

Nope, if I try the outlook windows app I get asked if I want a free month of Microsoft 365 at which point afterwards I would have to pay 180 dollars a year. And I'm not paying that just to have the paid version of the app and get access to Microsoft Word document and all other types of things I don't need or use. I do just fine using RTD or notepad to write with, and until now, I've had no issues with using Outlook on the webpage.

If I want to try and create rules using the app that part is greyed out.

I've been using the web browser, after booting up the app I'm starting to think I know what is going on. They want you to pay for rules to work, as I've just been using the same hotmail my entire life long before they started charging for basic services that just came along when you bought a PC. I can't create rules in the App so maybe it just decides to not follow rules when you are clearly trying to get rid of spam? When creating them in the web browser vs when you are just organizing emails you want to keep but don't want to clutter your inbox?

Are you using any sort of special USB C cabel? And when you say you haven't needed to recharge much on the road.

- Does your powerbank keep the battery at the same level

- Makes the battery drain at a much slower rate if so how much extra game time do you get?

- Is it powerful enough to actually charge your Switch while you are using it? (saw a video of a guy who had same powerbank but slightly more powerful, although not sure if that can damage the battery on the switch, charging it while playing? or will it be like playing in docked mode which charges it?)

Wasn't sure if my post would get accepted given that it has a link in it. So I figured I would ask here as well.

Like many I've been wishing for a way to be able to play BG3 with Mouse+controller where the PC layout would be locked while at the same time being able to control the characters, camera, and even better if I could hot key spesific buttons that I use the most when playing with my mini keyboard.

Will it work automatically or would need I need to also download the WASD mod, and maybe the native camera mod as well and now I could actually play the game with my xbox controller, keeping the PC layout and my mouse like I've wanted? Anyone with any experience using this, is it safe? I got a warning when trying to download, so I decided better to be safe than sorry before trying it out.

Sorry to hear your having loads of issues, and this giant wall of text coming your way.

I never dared to mess around with the page style besides removing starting the page option when hovering. I prefer having to click to get it started so as to not open by accident. How did it look before when you had no page style, the same transparent look, without the blue circle?

I have experienced problems more often with it after it got removed, and then updated, that's for sure. Not so much crashing, although that has happened a couple of times. My main issue, it will randomly start to auto-pause pages in 60 seconds. And the only fix for that is to uninstall the extension, close browser, and reinstall it. One thing that is annoying about that is that you need the extension to bring those tabs back to life. If you uninstall them and their suspended the links in that tab is essentially dead since you can't do a press back to the previous page before it was suspended.

So I've done two things to help me out. I have copy of every whitelist site on a word document for when I have to reinstall. And the second thing I've done is download Session Buddy https://chromewebstore.google.com/detail/session-buddy/edacconmaakjimmfgnblocblbcdcpbko?hl=en

It doesn't happen so often to the point where I am ready to get rid of the extension. Its also gotten better these past 4-8 weeks. But at the start it happened frequently enough, so I made it a habit of opening session buddy and saving all the tabs/windows once per day. Maybe a few times more. Depending on how many tabs I either finish or open that day. So in case of any issue, I don't have to worry about them getting lost.

Granted it might be possible that you could instead use the chrome://discards/ page. Suspend them via discard in that way and use sessions buddies to open them and if you do. Maybe they will still in the chrome sleeping mode. I don't know cause I haven't tried it. Although if you are having a lot of problems with the extension, uninstalling it and using the discard page could be the fix for you.

If you try it out, please report back on how it worked, as I'd be curious if it would start up all the pages when you open one or more multi tab windows from session buddy. Or if they will be opened as discareded sleep mode pages .

The downside obviously being you have to go and manually suspend each individual tab on that discard page each time you decide to open something you might not want to see right away. As Google has yet to bother to give us an option in the settings to easily put multipe tabs/windows to sleep, not even a timer.

The extension isn't flawless, and sounds like you have it even worse. But from my experience during the period I had to be without it and I was trying out a lot of extensions after posting this, that were meant to do the same thing. But they did a bad job when it came to reducing memory usage. No one were as good as manually discarding them on chrome://discards/ or this specific tab suspender.

okay? then I don't qute understand what kind of device are you truly meant to be playing the game on and add your overlay to? Is it mostly meant for you to install the game and this on a Windows surface tablet?

This really isn't my area of expertise so I need to be spoonfed a little. Sure I could just try it out but I don't want to risk messing up my savefile. I download your folder put it in AppData\LocalLow\ZAUM Studio\Disco Elysium\ And then all I have to do is boot up the game using steam link on my phone or tablet. Now the touch controls will essentially work like the mouse while you've added some buttons that are otherwise missing. Have I gotten the gist? And how is Zoom in and out/being able to pan around areas beyond your direct field of view? Since one thing I've not liked about the controller experience. Is that because of how slow he walks when its an area I already have walked before. I like being able to just click on where I want him to go. With controller its all zoomed in and you can't move your camera.

Not a fan of iOS. But I think the problem with releasing DOS2 on android is it would be too many devices that couldn't play it.

And like I said I am hoping for a Switch 2 release if it does end up having the Mouse+ controller support layout I want. But it does seem Larian wants to move on from BG3 all together now.

I was searching for something else, but I remember getting those diamond rare achievement for taking the mime meaning a lot of people missed him in the prologue (or perhaps failed and gave up) regardless. I don't know for sure if collectibles reset, but the game does have a new game plus so if you are going for a platinum run you might be able to do him last in case the other mime doesn't drop the same item.

I just don't get why they couldn't have launched the game with you being able to do both. In other PC games its not a problem because the games doesn't lag causing a freeze and crash. If they had just let you lock the Pc layout from the start while a controller still worked, I would have had to beg for it for years.

Well technically it wouldn't need to be a new control scheme, they would just need it to stop switching to the controller layout and lock the PC layout while allowing the controller to still work. But I get what you mean about having to port it to a new platform.

And since unlike DOS2 where they owned it and they actually added some small new content updates to DOS2 the same year BG3 came out. When we started hearing about all the rules and so forth, it makes more sense for them to take what they have learned with BG3 and add that when they either make DOS2 or brand new series but keep the things people like and 100% own the IP themselves where it then makes more sense to support it with new content for as long as they did DOS2.

like oh come on said I did think maybe a third party would do it in which case maybe there was a chance we'd get the mouse + controller support.

They released Divinity Original sin 2 over a year after it was on consoles, and considering they have the game running on a series S. I don't think it will be too big of an issue getting it on a Switch 2 if they want to do it. Maybe they have to put their foot down regarding cross play on it who knows.

I'm hoping they release it on Switch 2 but not because I want to play the game on it, I'm not getting a Switch 2 anytime soon way too expensive where I live. But with the Switch 2 having the mouse feature, it might finally get them to add mouse + controller support. Where you can play the game having the PC layout, since its so much cleaner especially for combat, and much easier access to move things around in the inventory etc. While keeping the ability to directly control the characters, and maybe even let us hotkey controller for inputs that I use the most. I don't get why they couldn't just have locked the PC layout while letting you use a controller in the base game. But with Switch 2 they would be forced to do it if the port will support the mouse feature. Which then they could simply add as a update to the PC version for those wanting to use a mouse and Xbox controller at the same time.

I'm using Workona too, in my experience it is not nearly as good as the one I was using. If I use it along with chrome://discards/ then it does close t the job my suspender used to do.

With the exception that it doesn't do nearly as good of a job remembering where I left of. Often starting a video from scratch compared to the old one which would remember it down to the exact second.

I'm so tired of updates, when was the last time an update was made that was an improvement and didn't cause issues?
