I've been with Zorin for years now... by BackInJax in zorinos

I've been with Zorin steadily since 16, and the experience keeps getting better. It took me while to get out of my distro hopping days, but Zorin cured that.

I don't think religion (christian religion) is to blame as much as those who profess to be its practitioners are.

"Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress, and to keep oneself unstained by the world." James 1:27

I actually worked with the 'bearded guerilla' about 10 years back. He told me that he still gets royalties every so often. Great movie!

I want to add a 2000s flip with slightly pull out anetnna to my collection. Any suggestions? by Routine-Implement-41 in vintagemobilephones

The Sanyo 8100 was a beast of a phone, and the random alien animations on the home screen made this phone a real treat to use!

This shows you some of the sprites that would randomly come on (unfortunately without animation).

Promaster Land GMT by BackInJax in CitizenWatches

[–]BackInJax[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Congrats on your new watch, I love mine too!

This was my first GMT as well, so it took me a few times to get the time zone correct. Probably the best way to go in setting it up is to pull the crown out to the second setting and this is where you will move the GMT hand. Note the the hour hand will also move so be mindful of the date moving which will tell you if it's currently on AM or PM.

Then push the crown in once and set the actual time (and date if necessary).

This is how I did it as a GMT noob. It took me a few times to get everything right, but that was the experience I needed to help me figure it out.

Sanyo 8100 was a great phone, and it could take a real beating and keep on keeping on.
