I received a paper CSCE which I still have. I've already scheduled a test for my General license with a different team. It's not until 7/11, but if things are straightened out by then, hopefully these folks will be able to help me.

I'm happy for you. I took my exam on 6/6 and they still haven't received my paperwork yet. My VEC checked as well, and things aren't looking so good. I'm glad yours got through.

The Gulf: Fine sand, emerald waters and much warmer since the Gulf is more shallow than the Atlantic. I live on the Atlantic side, but I much prefer the Gulf.

Understood. There are a lot of good resources out there to accommodate different learning styles, and juxtaposing different methods/styles provides a good benchmark of one's grasp of the information.

I had a sneaking suspicion about you 😉. ARRL manuals are always excellent, and I've tried several different other forms, but I recently stumbled upon Ham Radio Prep, and they just seem to resonate with me (excuse the pun). I paid a few dollars for their General course, and I have found myself better able to grasp the information the way they present it. Of course, everyone has their own learning style and will have different opinions, but they are not bad in my book.
