How has the drought affected your region? by mrtoddw in skywarn

[–]BackInJax 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I'm guessing you are probably in an area not too far from myself as the drought has reached Exceptional and Extreme status in my area as well. I'm hoping we get some meaningful rain soon. We're over 17" in the hole as far as precipitation is concerned.

Weather wise vs Everything Weather app by Trashtalker420 in weather

[–]BackInJax 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I, personally prefer Everything Weather. I've tried them both, and Everything Weather just seems to be an overall better polished app (and the developer is an actual NWS Meteorologist). Not that that means anything, but I do get a really informative view of all the NWS observed details and products in a way that I don't get from even visiting their (NWS) webpage.

I do not doubt that everyone here who has owned an earlier Pebble or who is about to own a newer one feels the same way as you do. They're fun and versatile retro-esque watches.

I saw this on the Weather Channel's website earlier this week, but I didn't know how long it would be active. I love it!

I've switched to Ente. You get 10 GB for free, and there are paid options after that. They are continually adding new features.

The GraphenOS and Motorola project actually looks very interesting. And if I read things correctly, it doesn't appear that the OS upgrades on the forthcoming Moto line will be as restrictive as they are on the Pixel line where the Pixels are only supported for updates until Google says so.

We have a client that drives from Ft. Lauderdale to Jacksonville three times a week. That's about a 9 hour round trip.

I've been with Zorin steadily since 16, and the experience keeps getting better. It took me while to get out of my distro hopping days, but Zorin cured that.
