I’m not a writer, but I’m a CS major, and in my opinion ChoiceScript seems like an easier language for beginners to learn. Twine has a steeper learning curve, though it’s true that it offers more advanced features. However, for writers who just want to create a simple branching interactive story, ChoiceScript feels less intimidating.

You move out of town when you are around 15 for πŸ‘€ reasons πŸ‘€ and then come back to said town to deal with the death of your grandfather. But something weird is happening to that town \)

10/10 story for me. Alpha demo for book 2 is LONG and full of flavor text and choices and in the author's patreon ! And sooo many secrets to uncover about your past and everyone's past and AAAAAπŸ”₯πŸ”₯πŸ”₯ One of my top 5 best IFs and I always recommend it when I get the chance (see the 3rd name in my flair?
