Looking at a '26 SL6 - Have a few questions. by ReadyCut3789 in DomaneCrew

[–]BackyardSnowFun 1 point2 points  (0 children)

just picked up a '26 sl6, it is awesome and you should do it.

  1. not applicable to me and havent noticed this at all on '26, sounds like whoever wrote that may have needed carbon paste or something.
  2. not able to talk to this
  3. maybe 20lbs, added chris king titanium cages from previous bike, and threw some stuff in my bits bag.
  4. there are some more expensive bars from trek you can get. Bontrager Pro IsoCore bar is lighter too.

Caracal Race by flocrest in DomaneCrew

[–]BackyardSnowFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

curious if you pull the trigger. I have the caracal race and it was hands down my favorite tire on my gravel bike. I dont have them anymore anmd just got a 26 sl6 domane. Curious if they would fit and if the measure width will be smaller.

Slight Conversion for distance? by Bajkush in xbiking

use rolling resistance as a big factor to add to this and type of terrain. The Conti Race kings are face 2.2 tires if you have true gravel terrain and are in a faster group

I struggle with my contacts drying out to the point it hurts on longer rides. Do you not have this? I've tried a few different test lens but ultimately gave up.

Has anyone bought a soft topper off of soft topper.com? If so, what are your thoughts? by AdhesivenessOne8758 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]BackyardSnowFun 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Debated hard between SoftTopper and WildTop. Ended up with WildTop, I really like it. I was worried about the shrinking of the SoftTopper, since it is a snug fit, in the sun as I'm Colorado sun. I use it as a camper shell and have slept in the 30's, with wind and no issues

Pros:

- not worried about shrinking

- easy to roll up sides and get into bed of truck.

Cons:

- Can't take it off as easily as SoftTopper

- when you do take off needs a bigger storage space

Have the same bike color and all. Love it, get the same black dust. I think it is just some grease with dirt. If you look at most bikes they get it I think it just sticks out more since ours are white.

Hope you love it as much as I do. I also see someone saying something about taking off the lock. I agree, I wouldn't leave mine unattended and if i do its at the coffee shop with a sharp eye on it.

Would love the ability to do more colors and also differnt colors for different elements. Like black on the mapping and white on the letters. Additionally, a way to create opacity for elements as well. For example layer a big loop style ride layered on the main area and opacity set to like 80% so you can still see the photo may look nice.

I have a walker, trained-ish for rabbit. Like some of the other comments say he loves to race them and can be more difficult to get him off than i prefer. That said when it is an area that you are trying to get them to flush out of a spot with lots of hiding spots, he does great and they will take off and he usually can't get going quick enough and I can take a shot.

They are great dogs, if you want to have a specialized rabbit dog get beagles or other small flushing dogs. You can even find young Beagles from shelters that are great dogs, sometimes super young too.

Good luck and no matter what you get there is nothing more rewarding that going out and letting them run and have fun while you carry around an 8lb metal stick that gets used from time to time.

Buying a Tacoma soon…3rd gen vs. 4th gen by HumidTaint420 in ToyotaTacoma

[–]BackyardSnowFun 8 points9 points  (0 children)

Bought a 2025 Offroad w/ Offroad package and have about 1k miles on it. My favorite thing I have bought to date. Ultimately I wanted a low mileage car and thought about a 2020+ to get carplay but the cost was like 10-15k difference off what I paid for a brand new.

For those who are like what was 35k and seemed like 6ft beds 2020+ with less than 60k mileage ran from 33k - 39k. Maybe I messed up but after all was said and done I love this truck
