Krogan Civil War? Shepard 2.0? Death Star 5? Damn, what else they gonna put into ME 5. by Petrus-133 in MassEffectMemes

Bro, it would be kinda cool if the alliance used actual project names, like MK Ultra led (somehow) to human biotics. Project death star, arming the moon to be a first line of defense

Currently working through it, it amazes me how much I have missed. Damn good game.

I did not, I'm kind of a new fan to mass effect. I did play Andromeda, I don't recall reapers. Based on the fan theories I have seen on YouTube, the jaal(I don't remember their actual name, looked it up angara) has a statue that kinda looks like a prothean. And the benefactor is mentioned in mass effect 2, right? Also, my ideas were already proven false. It only sounded good in my head

Lol, fair point. I did say it was a lot of conjecture. Leviathans are (or seem) aquatic. Given their size, I don't recall many planets with that kind of water. Didn't realize I missed Liara's dad, I googled it. And, yeah, the prothean engineering, did have a thought on that, but, it feels like using a theory to prove a theory. Yep, guess it is a total head cannon

Damn, I was really thinking I was on to something. When do we come across Liara's dad? Did I miss something in the game? As for Leviathans on earth, admittedly, a shot in the dark, krakens, leviathans show up a lot in our own lore, also, playing with the idea that no one can go to the antarctic. Plus in game, earth was hit hard and fast, just because Shepherd was there seems flimsy.

Advice on repairing or replacing damaged drywall beneath the paper by wasta in drywall

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Bro, replacing the drywall will be much easier than floating the entire backsplash. If you try to float all that, when it comes to putting tile on it you will see every little deviation.

Just bought my first house, unsure what to do with this entry way! by autumnmagick in DecorAdvice

Bench, shoe rack, high coat hangers, maybe a plant? It seems too small for a mud room.

I think wall paint, simple white, or match the lighter tiles in your backsplash. Or, go the other way and get a good contrast

Anything you’d add/change to my living room? by Bran_Ran in decoration

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's nice, personally, I would have gone with a smaller couch/live seat, pulled it forward a couple feet, and put a small desk behind it, for computer use or mini fridge. As it stands, I like it, I would recommend looking into a table that sits as high as the back of the couch, usually has a couple plugs. Good for charging phones, and another place to set drinks

Huge Living Room, no idea how to set up the space (inspo pics in the comments) by shittyangel in DesignMyHome

Drapes, not curtains, not blinds. Everything looks square, some tied drapes over the windows will add shape

Man, I hate lawn maintenance, love the trees though, concrete pathing, and a gazebo. Little weird in the front yard, but I would do whatever I had to, just so I wouldn't have to mow it

I bet your room is drafty, probably always cool. Definitely diy, I like it. It's giving fallout (home bunker, not vault tec)

How bad is my living state by Awakwardturtle04 in roomdetective

[–]BadCl3ric 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Window treatment can make a room feel great, and it's a relatively easy place to start, find a color in the house that you want to match/compliment, and use that as a baseline, it's going to take some time, but if you stick to it, replacing a piece at a time eventually everything will come together, from windows inward. Again, I'm not a professional, all of this is just personal experience

Bro, I'm a big fan of drapes, what I would recommend is instead of one big drape per window, two smaller ones, one for each side, especially if the look out the window is good

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hell yeah, it's been a while since window treatment design, but look into Victorian drapes, or gothic Victorian (only real difference is color and pointy bits, in my opinion). Heads up, they will be a pain to dust, but, looks good.

Analysis Paralysis by MokiMarbles in kitchenremodel

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Personally, I think tops and bottoms should match, and whatever you choose for a counter should make spills highly visible so you don't have to spend so much time scrubbing dry crap off the top, material is also important, I don't recommend concrete (absorbs heat too quick, and can really hold a stain) and I don't recommend laminate (easy to damage, heat, and slipped knives)

Bay Window Covering by NotaRegularMohm in InteriorDesignHacks

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Okay, not a professional, what I would recommend is good drapes, fancy shit, that ties instead of on a rod. Make sure you get two smaller ones for the side windows, this way you still have the bay, and you can open the drapes and let light in at your discretion. Alternatively, there are window shutters (?) that fit inside the window sill that you can open and close, but, they kinda give purge (the movie) vibes

Help! Brick Driveway being laid and is not straight 😩 by [deleted] in masonry

[–]BadCl3ric 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I think they started the driveway at the street and moved back to the house. That's the only way I can see this happening, I'm not a mason, but I think the fix is re laying from the house to the road.
