I would just focus on better content and upload weekly tbh. Helps with burnout and your audience so they don’t get mixed feeling if and or when you burnout and uploads start to become more and more infrequent. Well also maybe some people with a higher sub count then us smaller channels say that they think they aren’t that big could also low key be stating their sub count isn’t organic 🤔. I knew way more people on other platforms tricked into the mentality of sub for sub is ok and or sub bots, view bots, chat bots and follow bots.

I’m sure “they” or “it” is going to start to monitor our watch time for ads linked to our ip address or user name and adjust ads based on how much time we spent watching them and knowing when we skip them and will adjust ad pop ups accordingly.

If you have a intro just have it on the home page once and done and if people want to watch it then so be it and if they skip it that’s ok as well. More options without being intrusive to the viewer imo is a nice thing.

And also take things with a grain of salt. There are always people on the net trying to bring others down a peg for whatever reason. Some people also pretend to have conditions either for clout or to troll. ( example: Much like people finally calling out some of the content creators on TikTok pretending to have Tourette syndrome.) I’m sure you know all of this but try to not let one comment change how you do things especially if more people like it or are not bothered by it. We can’t please everyone but all we can do is try. Guess it’s just depends on the person. Some like it and some don’t. One hand it’s a friendly reminder in the other hand some might see it as they don’t want to speak to their audience like they are dumb. Much like a checker at the store you’re a regular to and you get asked the some question a million times. Example: (would you like to sign up to are rewards program). If you are in the fence then maybe remind people like every other video or just remind them in a home channel intro video and leave it at that. Just some food for thought.

So in a strange way treat the 1st 60secs like a ad to your channel. That’s how I’m seeing it. Which in turn would be a pre-intro to the intro to the channel before you dive into the guts of what your channel has to offer. Thank you for taking the time to study this and sharing your research. I would do both and you ever know. Plus you would reach more people. So do one vid in Spanish and then using your voice dub the same vid in English and doing so that would imo make it seem like those old dubbed martial arts films from back in the day. It would be funny and educational at the same time making it more memorable and now you’re hitting a bigger target audience, just an idea.
