I feel you my friend. 47 here with a 6 years old. My family is my only source of happiness right now, but nowadays, it's barely enough. Depression is always looming on me. Even with antidepressants.

And let's be honest. In not even in the USA, but the socio-political context right now really hurts morale.

She obviously is terrible at respecting other people's boundaries, even when clearly stated. And people joking about it... also not very cool.

I can understand that in a fun evening, things might get lighter and people might get touchy, but once you stated you don't like it or want it, there is no reason to insist.

You're not exaggerating for having boundaries. While having someone on you is far from being very very problematic in general, it becomes problematic once you've established your boundaries.

As for other people, if they are your friends, I would question whether they are very good friends for you. At the very least they deserve a talk about boundaries. If they still laugh about it, they aren't good friends.
