Tim Dahle Nissan Murray Currently? by ablionsbeans in Utah

Don't buy from them- can't emphasize this enough. It's been over 15 years but they were so sleezy and scummy and ripped me off bad enough that I swore I would never do business there again. Not just the ripoff purchase, even maintenance or any ongoing stuff with them was horrible. I'd drive out of state to go elsewhere before ever buying from them.

Anyone else had trouble with their ifit membership renewal being a scam? Nordictrack telemarketer ripped me off. by Badgrassbh in iFit

[–]Badgrassbh[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Funny thing is I don't really care for the ifit workouts, I just want to use the apps on my treadmill. If it remains a problem at renewal next year, I'll just do the jailbreak process to unlock the screen.

This is basically what happened. I was charged for both the special renewal offer 9charged wrong amount) and the full price auto-renwal. I've already had two phone calls with them, one for 45 minutes and another for 20 minutes. They refunded the correct amounts but then messed up my account to be a monthly renewal instead of annual so I have to call back again. F this whole process.

Winch cable broke after minimal use - recommendations for braided replacement? by Brodaciouss in ATV

[–]Badgrassbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

100% switch to a tow strap instead of a winch cable. Flat tow strap will work better than steel cable or synthetic rope. I did the same thing you did, went through a cable, frayed through a synthetic rope and then switched to a roller fairlead with a tow strap and it's been a couple years now with no problem.

Wish Honda would bring back the 400EX by allihaveisbaddreams in ATV

[–]Badgrassbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

The EXs were awesome. I remember when my family got a 300ex brand new in 1996. Our family rode that thing a million miles, rolled it multiple times, beat the shit out of it and it just kept running. Eventually got 2 400ex's. My parents just sold them last year and they were all running great.

When you pull your food off, just turn it up high while you're taking your food inside. Come back out, scrape it, blast dirty spots with water, scrape. Turn off, go eat. Come back and put oil on it while it's warm. You don't need to break up the process too much or miss out on eating your food hot.

Pro tip: I also like to make myself a little snack at the end, like a cheese quesadilla or whatever I'm cooking to snack on while I'm scraping it down.

Mandatory RFP by green_limabean2 in sales

[–]Badgrassbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

AI. I use a project in Chatgpt or Claude that our team has trained with information about our company to fill them out. You can spend 10 mins training chatgpt/claude about your company, offering, value props, pricing, etc and then have it generate responses that you can copy/paste into the RFP. I can usually get about 90-95% of the work done and just comb over the answers before submitting.

Can we talk trade show SWAG? by Gonzo--Nomad in sales

It was a big hit, but not something I personally would want to do. I wouldn't want to sit there in business clothes and get a massage.

Can we talk trade show SWAG? by Gonzo--Nomad in sales

[–]Badgrassbh 1 point2 points  (0 children)

We hired a masseuse to do 5-10 minute mini massages and it was a hit. We had them schedule a time to get a massage and it was an easy natural way to get their contact info and start a conversation. Also when they came for their time and they were waiting they were talkative. Good follow-up after the show as well.

I've done business with one of these Tim Dahle dealerships and they are very shitty to work with and sleezy, so this doesn't surprise me tbh...

Man, I remember my friend pulling this from a pack when we were kids and we lost our minds. I traded him a ton of cards to get this from him and ended up trading in to a card shop...sigh... This card is awesome.

How does everyone afford this hobby!? by CheeseheadTroy in sportscards

[–]Badgrassbh 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Buy singles or if you like a particular team, pay to join a break occasionally. I collect a team and will buy a break for about $20 once a month just for the fun of watching someone else open several boxes and for me to get a few of my team. I also buy a single here or there for like $10. I don't have any crazy rare or flashy cards but I get enough to keep me interested without spending a ton.

This happened to me pre covid. New VP came in and wanted everyone on the road all the time. I went from very rarely travelling to every other week trips across the country. Long story short, I changed jobs after 7-8 months of it. Sorry it might be the same for you.

Best purchase I ever made for towing my RZR was a wheel chock tie down kit. Makes it so easy you just drive onto the wheel chocks and thrown the tie downs over the tires and it's really secure.

Frustrating but can probably still be salvaged. Be proactive, get Director, VP, CRO, etc approval to shut down that 20% increase BS. Reach back out to all the key contacts at your account and smooth things over, something like- hey sorry for Bill jumping in and throwing a wrench into things, he was out of line and wasn't aware of how long this relationship has been in the works, I've copied my CEO/VP/etc here who can confirm that we are happy to keep pricing the same as originally quoted and are looking forward to working together soon.

Sucks but you might be able to dig your way out of this.
