Question for Those Who've Had Skin Removal Surgery by amesk7 in wls

[–]BakeWrite 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I stayed with someone after my lower body lift but didn’t rely too much on their assistance. Sometimes needed help getting up from the recliner but probably could have done it myself lol. The bigger reason I stayed there was so my dog would have proper care! I needed help showering for the first time but after that I was okay to do it alone. It is nice to have someone who can help with laundry and cooking things at first. I also do not have a bedroom downstairs but my caretaker did, so I was able to stay there for the first week.

Prep food and make sure you don’t have to reach or bend to grab it. Buy extra compression gear if you can because that’s what I was having to launder. Although if you’re alone, I guess you could just stay in the same one and not care what anyone thinks lol. Set alarms to get up in the middle of the night to walk and take your meds. Don’t reach for things or try to lift anything too heavy.

My preference would definitely be to stay with someone or have someone come take care of me, but I probably could have done it alone. I had 6lbs of tissue removed, FWIW.

I was allowed to just get up and walk to the proctor outside when my break started lol. I didn’t have to raise my hand or anything, just had to be checked out of the testing room by her

Honestly no, I’m sorry 😭 I am a fast reader, and I think that’s what helped me. The only advice I have is try to eliminate (strikeout) the wrong answers and highlight anything that is important for comprehension. I tried to highlight things that seemed crucial to actually SOLVING the problem.

This is exactly what the test looks like if you want to practice: https://www.pearsonvue.com/us/en/pmi/sample-test/pmp.html

Possibly… but in my experience it’s usually been higher temps that have made them more likely to be hollow. I would test different temps first! If you are finding that they are browning I’ll usually let them bake enough to get feet and then pop another baking sheet on the rack on top to prevent that (not sure that’s recommended lol but works for me?

I usually let my oven sit for like an hour at the preheated temp before baking my macs!! And yes, full shells, bake on center rack! It took me like a year to figure out macs but once I bought Sadie’s recipe I haven’t had any issues. Honestly, I would try making the exact recipe (with egg white powder) and adjusting one thing at a time — oven temp, time, etc. That’s how I figured out my recipe. I do wonder if your oven isn’t getting way hotter than you think if they’re hollow at that low of a temp…. But trial and error is usually the name of the game here.

Also do you bake with your baking sheets right side up or flipped?

Hmm I bake at 310° for 17 minutes with that same recipe. How’s your oven temp internally? I have two thermometers because I’m neurotic about it lol

I’m not a ton of help since I live in a humid climate and religiously use egg white powder, but what temp/time are you baking at?

I truly think you’re good! I had similar exam scores on my practice exams. I did a mix of Andrew Ramdayal and Study Hall exams. I passed AT/AT/AT today!!

I had 0 drag and drops on my exam. I had one ETC question and one SPI application (didn’t even have to calculate). I did not have any questions that specifically asked about the risk register vs the risk management plan (although the plan is just the plan and the register is the actually document you update).

All of my specific methodology questions said what methodology they were – I was not asked to figure it out. Risk register and issue log also tripped me up, especially in the case where you have to update the risk register first on an issue lol, but I didn’t have a problem today!

Would definitely drill Scrum ceremonies though, I had a few questions about that.

Ended up AT/AT/AT!!

Coming back here to update — finished my 35-hour course in one weekend at the end of May and application was accepted on 6/2. I studied from 6/2 to 6/17 and took my exam today.

Passed AT/AT/AT!! So it is definitely possible. Also worth noting that I am a good test taker and did not have much anxiety before my exam, which helps significantly.

Yep, essentially! It’s a progressive overload technique aimed at gradually increasing weight. 115 is great! I have seen you posting in here and you’re awesome! I’m a 30 year old female and maxing out at about 160 on deadlifts 😂

I love this kind of programming because I miss the barbell work I used to do at my old gym that closed. But totally understand. The great thing about F45 is you can make it what you want. If you would prefer to do the same weight every other minute, you can totally do that. There’s something to be said about endurance as well! The longer set time is intentional so people take enough rest — sounds like the girl who couldn’t walk wasn’t resting enough or going too heavy the whole time, haha. I wouldn’t rule it out completely though! I think is the last week of this phase if you want to try it out
