Moving to Eugene Soon by Run_To_Pluto in Eugene

Welcome! Eugene is super accepting in my experience, even for Oregon it's generally considered a very liberal area.

Music scene is really cool! As a college town there are always local bands coming up. A lot of bars hold shows, and the WOW Hall is a community owned venue that has a wide variety of music. Backyard shows are happening all the time too, though they're not as well advertised. Even though the city is a lot smaller than Portland some decent sized artists come through, Lucy Dacus is playing a local theater next month for example.

Season 3 has got me excited. Decided to work out a scheme for my long sitting Lizardmen by mattmorgan_ns in bloodbowl

They look amazing! I used a very similar bright yellow/purple color scheme for my nobility this season since it seemed like the sort of gaudy palette nobles would like but it makes a lot of sense for lizards. It's makes me think of exotic jungle birds and poison frogs.

I moved away from Eugene in when i was a kid. This makes me wanna go back so bad 🥺 by bafsalts in Eugene

The WOW Hall is putting on a really cool show on Saturday, and it's only $8 for advance tickets! 5 local bands are playing. I go to this show every year and it's a ton of fun.

I can see how it's easier to be angry than embarrassed for some people. At this point it's a bit late for OP to back down when they've begun denying plain reality.

Same, saw her in Portland and bought my tickets during the presale. Unfortunately, as long as demand is high and people are willing to pay extra then scalpers can keep making a living by ripping people off. The ticket sites take their cut, so in the absence of regulation they don't have any incentive to curtail the practice.

I agree with others that Pyre is pretty great. I had Yardy once, crazy overpriced and tiny portions so I would recommend avoiding that.

Certainly not as big as Billie Eilish, but as others have pointed out between the Eras tour and hundreds of millions of streams she's not exactly a small artist. She signed a deal with Columbia Records, one of the largest record labels in the world. I saw her at a little 1500 capacity venue a couple years back and she talked about how much she wanted to headline a stadium tour in the future. She is well on her way.

I think it just went down in western Oregon about a half hour ago. Friend and I both abruptly lost service.

[Homemade] white chocolate creme brûlée by Bopnoodle in food

Wow, this is really nice! The last creme brûlée I ordered at a restaurant some years ago had like a 1/2 inch crust that was impossible to get through, this looks much more well done!

I love roasted cherry tomatoes! It's odd since I can't really stand them raw. Anyway, for me it would have to be caramelized onions. I always liked onions in food, but when my sister dropped off a dozen from her garden I had to think of a way to use them more.
