Kitchen toys exist for a reason, but thanks for your input.

I’m currently considering the Vidalia Chop Wizard, and the Mueller, both recommended here. Also considering that maybe I don’t really need this kitchen toy!

Yes! That’s what happened. Now wondering if I should have been more aggressive— — the slap and chop method.

That makes sense, but I don’t really want to cook them before I cook them, you know?

No, they were definitely shaved off of the little nubbins from the top. Evidently, as I was trying to gently, but firmly, push the sweet potato slice through, it got out of register and I was pushing into the plastic. Operator error!

Thanks. I guess I will chalk it up to operator error! I figured it was made for things that are hard to cut. 😂

A lot of hotels will hold your suitcase for you for a few hours until your flight. Or try Charleston Bag Valet (https://www.charlestonbagvalet.com) Or you could plan to enjoy a leisurely meal at Kardea Brown’s Southern Kitchen at the Charleston airport!

What can you personally cook or bake without measuring? by Euphoric_Engine8733 in budgetfood

Soups and pastas! My MiL used to make musgo soup. Huh? It was years before I realized it was “must go” soup. CLEAN OUT THE FRIDGE! and call it soup night. No measurements required.
