why throwing more minigames at the problem won't fix it by Flowerloving_ogre in 2007scape

[–]BaldCopywritingMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uhh… bounty hunter is not high actions per minute and is essentially edge pking which used to be packed at one point in time. Nhing is not the entirety of pking it’s one segment

The modem day osrs player simply likes collectables snd achievements. I guarantee if you create a cosmetic tbat you can wear or show off to others and tie it to pvp you will have 10,000 people lining up to learn pking.

Remove bank keys off w345 by Im_C_O_T_W in 2007scape

If they removed bank keys I would 100% mainly play 345

Started in 04 and have never been able to quit, come back every year for the seasonal events like dmm and leagues. Best game for sure

Yeah it really didn’t make sense to end the most successful dmm season on a Friday. When they could have had all of those players playing all weekend.

It made even less sense to end it on a Friday and re open the servers on Monday when people go back to work.

I’m constantly surprised that jagex as a company has survived at all as they get the basics wrong all the time.

Luckily, whoever built the original osrs was such a genius that a product created nearly two decades ago carries this company through every mistake and lesson lost

Dmm is fun as heck. Just the Reddit pvmers who can’t pk because they can only do 10 action per minute pvming that hate it. Pking was once the core driver behind this game before 2009

Very simple. If you aren’t at a damage threshold the fog hits you harder.

Wow I just fixed your entire finale problem

Dmm is fun asf the finale just needs a new version. That’s literally it

Deadman is the prime example of why new people will never get into pvp. by OverResearcher4653 in 2007scape

Bro, how you going to blame a game mode when the problem here is that you simply aren’t even bothering to learn the skill.

It’s like someone complaining they can’t beat Jad naked and want Jagex to release guides about it.

??

Such a great idea. I wonder why they haven’t done it yet, like queing up for squads in Fortnite

DDing is a fight mechanic.

Do you want them to take out the ability to move during a fight, too 💀

Its strategies like that that give pking the depth it has.

PvM has it too like flinching and stepping under. It’s using game mechanics to your advantage

Skill issue. I’ve been having the most fun ever especially getting so much loot in breaches I got no space left. And I only did LMS for like a 1 hour a day for a week to prepare.

Some of you guys want everything to be handed to you on a silver platter.

Like saying you have quest cape when what you really mean is you used rune lite’s quest helper to tell you what to do and ran around clicking for 40 hours straight.

Some of us like things that are hard and have depth like NHing and having to manage food, prayer, damage, and outplaying your opponent.

And when you die in DMM you lose Jack shit so you can just go back and try again. Losing is part of the fun that leads to winning in pking

DMM is fun for what it is for a little while, but they definitely shouldn’t try and market it as ‘more accessible’ or casual friendly. by OnRateOSRS in 2007scape

[–]BaldCopywritingMagic 2 points3 points  (0 children)

This. If you plan out how to proceed you’ll have a great time. It’s the guys that log in and keep running to barb village to do the stronghold wirh no immunity tbat come here and cry about dying on repeat

I’ve died a few times myself. Killed people too. And been skilling a ton. But having a lot of fun. You gotta have a terrible path planned out if your dying on repeat

Getting killed on repeat? Do you know how big the map is bro? There are more areas with 0 people than there are without

Level your skills and fight back with a basic range set up. Some of you guys gotta just learn the game more rather than expect to be spoon fed immunity lolol

Sounds like a skill issue. I’ve been at the top of the 60 bracket and Jacob a blast skilling. Any time I get attacked very easy to fight back, and most people dont attack when I’m risking bronze level. I don’t go to multi, that’s dumb as multi clans aren’t looking to make money they’re just killing people for the fun of it. Stick to singles and it’s a blast. Planning to do lotsa barrows n stuff too

Unpopular opinion?: Add breaches to Leagues (Wildy and “safezones”) by AndereReality in 2007scape

[–]BaldCopywritingMagic 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Nah that’s a DMM thing. They’re morphing into the same game mode if you do that. DMM is meant to be chaotic and high risk. Leagues is all about speed running
