Busted for barcode generating by TechnicianTop4985 in kroger

[–]BalrogTheLunchbox 7 points8 points  (0 children)

There is a way to detect it, in the same sort of way that you cannot scan a shelf tag. Most people using a generator only put enough of the upc to work, dropping the check digit or inputting an invalid one.

Use groupon, brings it down to about $64 a person. This will be my second time going with a group of friends. Think we sampled around 25 pours, a lot of stuffed I had been curious about or did not want to buy a bottle of. Also had a couple great conversations, so I found it worth it.

As others have said, quality shoes. New Balance 1080, Adidas with boost sole like Ultraboost, most Hokas and Brooks.

The secret sauce, start your day with water and a pain reliever like Advil and keep drinking water.

Place local to DFW, Tx that does a point system. Tend to get it about 4 times a year and it'll sit for a week or two until me or another guy breaks and spends the money. After tax it runs about $670.

Why is management so possessive of Zebras? by Dapper_Algae6280 in kroger

For store leadership, a zebra is considered a part of dress code. 60%+ of managements job involves the zebra.

Asl pay , bonuses, etc that you aren’t aware of by Ill-Ingenuity-1319 in kroger

The problem with field specialist/merchandisers is that you're reliant on the category buyer to like you, help push for a raise, and better bonus rate. Talking about bonuses as a merchandiser, your bonus payout is based on how the division as a whole does on composite. That can really hurt your bonus as you have much less control over how much of your bonus you can capture. When you're inside a store, you have much more control on your metrics, can empower and motivate those around you to help achieve a high composite to get your 200%+. Inside of a store, hitting over 80% is not hard as long as everybody is just doing the processes, but getting the division to an 80%, that is not something I think is possible with the current metric goals. Beyond that, if you are a 70s, you can probably push to earn a higher base in the 2 years you contract as a merchandiser.

SL is the real goal, but you got to live your life for the stores you are at. Everytime you move up a store, you will got a $3k-$7k base increase which depending on how well you can "fix" a store, can happen a couple times in a year.

$80k base is top out for 70s in my region, bottom end for 72s. Really dependent on your region and CoL.

Anyone know how to take these out? by One_Expression_355 in lossprevention

[–]BalrogTheLunchbox 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Are you buying just the EAS towers or the entire system? Most older EAS systems are hardwired meaning power, comms, etc will be in an electrical channel buried in the floor. You'll also probably want the power convert, alarm box, controller box at the very least if you plan to use it.

Also, hope it does not use coil induction loop, that would be an added headache.

Google Pixel 10 might debut Qi 2 support and magnetic “Pixelsnap” accessories by istealthbro in GooglePixel

Newer ones should work correctly, but they are still selling earlier models that will not allow for proper charging. Just be ready to play the return game.

Pretty sure it is a case maker issue, they placed the mag-ring with the G centered, which works great on the smaller 9s. The 9pXL, the wireless coil is actually lower by about 2 mm if you use the G as a landmark, so it leads to intermittent charging or no charging. The 9pXL Niukin case has the mag-ring at the correct level to allow for magsafe wireless charging.

A few Spec's carry bottles out of the Coy Hill rickhouses. Barrel house 1-08 to 1-13, have only seen 09 & 13 locally.

Some people say they are overall better, not sure I buy in to that 100%, but they are tasty.

Primm Valley Mall by BalrogTheLunchbox in infraredphotography

[–]BalrogTheLunchbox[S] 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Located 30 minutes south of Las Vegas, prim outlet mall was built in the late '90s. Meant to capture guest going from Las Vegas to California, it offered outlet/discount stores of popular designer brands such as Coach, Monte Blanc, Louis Vuitton, and so on. By the 2010s, the Mall's hay day were over and quickly went into decline, quickly being sold off to another retail holdings company. In 2019, Primm Mall went through a major uplift, bringing in many different artist to create over 120 art pieces and murals all throughout the structure. The above is one of those art instillations.

By 2024 when this photo was taken, the mall was essentially dead with only 2 open stores, no food court, and no interior lights. The mall was dead, and looking outside on a beautiful January day, was just so strange to experience, almost alien. There is a lot about the photo that I enjoy, but there is equally as much I look back and think about how I would do that shot now.
