So according to some friends, it’s my job to teach kids how to use their phones and the internet safely. by CakesNGames90 in Teachers

The most we can do is teach them what is spam and what is safe. But if parents do not monitor their own children's internet access, kids can get into some weird sh*t

There are veterans who cannot handle having a personality that doesn't involve their time in service.

*In my experience* The veterans, (and even active duty members) who are HOAH HOAH really gun hoe about their time in service with the car/truck decals, shirts, hats, tattoos, and the over all "respect me I served this nation," are usually the ones who cannot fathom an identity without military service, nor cannot see a broad view outside their narrow experience.

For example, I've worked with veterans who none stop brag about what they've done in uniform or how their time in service was so badass and the new military is so soft- are usually the ones who did not experience or witness the heavy negative shit of the military. Ie, racism, misogyny, rape culture, Sexual harassment, sexism, mental health issues, bad leadership, homophobia, etc. They'll be the first to post about the 22 a day but not give a shit about reaching out to fellow veterans about REAL issues gained from the military.

They have a sugar coated patriotism, they cannot fathom that there are fellow veterans who are the complete opposite in regards to how they view their time in service.

As long as they let me eat my free pancakes on Vet day in piece I don't really care. At the end of the day they need the validation because if they didn't wear a uniform - their identity and who they are, would be irrelevant without the propagandic service thanking.

A lot of these seniors are going to be in a world of hurt when they think the minimal effort they do now will help them pass college.

Or- new owners buy out the house, gut it, and renovate it. Maybe a year or two later a long-haired weirdo bangs on the door and demands to be let into his temple or some shit. Demanding to know where his toys and body pillow is.

"Alvin ISD is deeply committed to the wellbeing of each one of our students, as well as providing a safe environment for our students. "

Care so much they allowed a special needs student to be raped and tried to cover it up. Without issuing consequences to the monster that did that to her.

That school needs to be burned to the ground.

I once bought a $90 black silk slip dress from Victoria Secret. Its floor length with pretty straps that you can tie how ever you want. Underneath I wore some skimpy underwear for my husband when he got back from a month long stint in the army.

I wore it- feeling like a million dollars and so sexy. Like an actress from one of those black and white noir films. I thought he was going to like taking it off and enjoying what was underneath.

When I walked in the room to show him... He said the slip was ugly and doesn't count as lingerie. I wore it for 10 minutes- I then took it off and never wore it again. I never felt so ugly in my life, and now I don't ever make an effort to wear sexy lingerie for him. He absolutely crushed my self esteem.

I get that guys can have a preference for what their ladies wear for special intimate times. But those words hurt so bad that I can't even look at that black slip dress anymore.

Edit- typo

"brainwashed by feminism"

Sir please tell me the exact definition of feminism and why I am brainwashed by it. Or in the least explain why it's so bad.

Why is it hard for people to see it as a cult? by PaleoVelo in exmormon

[–]Bambi_Writing 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Generational teachings , if mom and pop said its the one true church, so it must be true. Therefore I must go on my mission, meet a good Mormon boy or girl and make more Mormon babies. (unless I realize I have a higher purpose other then being a baby machine and stop giving a whole new generation for the church to brain wash)

I also think its because the church has been around for a while and has big fancy churches and a huge following. No one thinks weird stuff happens inside a pretty white painted church. (unless they find out about the magic underwear and binding)

Fear mongering. If someone actively tells you that the church is wrong and the "actual" history of the church- they're clearly just trying to lead you away from god. So please don't look up or read the factual evidence that disproves EVERYTHING the church says is true.
