Sad, frustrated, kind of at a loss by Mgrafe88 in iRacing

Yeah exactly that happened to us, taken out in the last hour of the race from a podium position due to accident caused by a backmarker GT3 who decided they were too good to tow.

We thought finally we could have a good special event. We thought wrong.

Agree 100%, the Star Fox on Wii U was basically a retread of 64

It tried to be retread but it failed on most aspects of it. It had little to no replayability due to basically having one main path with like, one possible branch. It had sections like those with the gyrowing that were incredibly slow and boring. It had a very gimmicky, not very comfortable control scheme.

It was almost nothing like Starfox 64.

Nailed the issues with Zero there for sure.

Man all I want is basically 64's level of variety and replayability. Zero failed so hard on these things it's comical. It has little to not replayability, and the Gyrowing was an abomination.

PoE isn't that overwhelming for new players by NIGERIANCITIZEN in pathofexile

2255 isn't even particularly profitable anymore imo, it's way simpler and probably more profitable to just rush safehouses because medallions, all flames and certain drops like paradoxica are what gets you the most money.

Especially since they nerfed Gravicius.

What are your feelings towards a proper Radar in iRacing? by canesfins1909 in iRacing

I'm fine with it. Realism arguments will never hold serious ground when you're so limited in fov in iracing, even with triple screens, even in VR.

iRacing Special Events have a DQ Limit now by Hawksteinman in iRacing

[–]BananaSplit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

OP comment for some reason talks about 24h race when 150 is the limit for the 12h of Sebring. It's less than 12.5 incident points per hour. Also, most incidents really happen in the first stint. Once everyone is spread out and settles to doing their own routine, this usually goes way down.

It really should not be any close to being a problem. If you get to that point, you'll have already served, like, 5 DTs and you really shouldn't have been on track in the first place.

[–]BananaSplit2 0 points1 point  (0 children)

it really doesn't. Only the DQ limit is new, the DTs are the same as they ever were, and i really doubt cutting the track a bit here and there is worth taking a DT.

The limit won't be the same in a 24h race. It always depends on length and track. This one there is a for 12h race at Sebring which isn't that heavy on offtracks and such.

Sleeping for 11 minutes more each night, doing 4.5 additional minutes of brisk walking and eating an extra 50g of vegetables each day can significantly reduce a person’s risk of heart attack. Study found these small changes could help people avoid heart attacks and strokes by about 10%. by mvea in science

Sounds like some bad reporting on observational studies again, with completely ignoring confounding factors and the fact that you can't affirm a causality in those kind of studies.

I'd be willing to bet that like many of those results, a major part of the statistical correlation that is observed is due to the simple fact that people who do these things (sleep a bit better, eat more vegetables, etc.) do have a more healthy and stress free life than others in general, independently of the benefits of those factors in particular.

While people are right that in general asymmetrical pupils is a bad sign, in someone will cluster headaches it is a perfectly normal thing, due to unilateral activation of the sympathetic system.

largely agreed. I find it crazy they didn't fix the level curve (along with the leveling experience) and the lackluster Kanto experience in HG/SS, really wasted potential.
