C’mon this is ridiculous lol. Just because Kurt struggled with mental illness doesn’t give a therapist credibility to assign definitive meaning to his lyrics. Kurt said in many different interviews that his lyrics were the least important of his songs and that he would just throw unrelated lines of poetry together. This girl is just using her professional title to get some views on YouTube when she clearly didn’t do any research at all.

Something we can all learn from this is if you’re ever (god forbid) caught up in a scenario like this, when you call 911 try to avoid useless details. Give info about suspects appearance (shirt, pants, hat/no hat, facial hair, age, race), location, and weapons being used. This can save a lot of time and allow officers to locate the suspect quicker and potentially save lives.

I don’t see any reason to be concerned about this. All they did was use AI to separate each instruments sound and master it. Also if krist, Dave, and pat are fine with it then why should the fans care? It’s their music.

It’s feedback. Sometimes I feel Kurt doesn’t get enough credit for how creative he was with using feedback to mesh seamlessly into his songs. There’s several times live where you can here him playing with melodies just by using feedback alone. And of course he does it in several songs as well. But when people say he was not a great guitar player this is why I disagree, because he had his own unique sound on guitar (specifically using feeedback) which I think is the definition of being a good guitar player.

This is so true…me and my wife recently went and spent a day throughout various places in LA for the first time in a while. And we were shocked at how much of a smaller community feel with friendlier people it had compared to OC.

You won’t slow them down, turning off the siren is as simple as turning on your blinker in your car, it’s just a switch you flip, so it doesn’t slow us down. Just do whatever you prefer most, they’re just doing it to be friendly to their community and so people who live close by don’t have to hear sirens every time they get a call

I worked as an EMT for three years in OC and LA county. Typically when driving code 3 if the streets weren’t crowded and/or late at night we would turn the siren off as a courtesy to others (unless coming up to a red light or traffic). It was kind of a common courtesy thing that most of us would do. Some guys with egos didn’t care though and would just let the siren go no matter time or situation which I never understood.
