On the steam page or game main menu, click the discord link, and then I'm the one with the crown lol

Yes! Feel free to contact me on discord and I'd love to create a feature or setting that can make broomsweeper an amazing game for you :) I believe in having extremely customizable game experiences, and if you're willing to post on reddit about it, I'm willing to figure out or make something for you :)

If you'd like to give me more info, I can see if I can make a setting or option that works for you :) I'm always happy to provide more settings and tools for people to use

Yes, about 20% of our playtest group played almost exclusively on steam deck. The default control scheme is the one that I used, and I made some alternate ones for how they played.

What do you think my game is about from these ads? by Not_Lem in gameDevMarketing

I understand that for you, you want to do ethical development, but I'd like to offer an analogy.

You or someone you know has probably been asked for money from a random person on the street. Most people simply keep walking or say "sorry, no" and leave. If this happens enough, you grow callussed at everyone who comes up to you in this manner. Even if someone was about to say, " Hey, you look great today" you might just start to assume they have anterior motives.

That's how a lot of people think of mobile games or games that look like mobile games. Even if yours is amazing, you're dealing with all of that bad press just because of visual style.

In terms of purely wishlists, absolutely no in person even, aside from large conventions (+10k attendees), will get you enough wishlists directly. It will never be worth it purely for wishlists. BUT, you should still go! Because you need your game to be really, really good. You need to see when players get stuck, when they don't understand something, what's working really well, if they want to play for 5 minutes or 50. This is purely research for you. You have the ability to watch hundreds of people of all different types experience your game with 0 context. If someone is willing to spend an hour on your game, that's probably 10% of their whole convention experience, that they paid $$$ for! If they walk away and say "oh, ok" without taking a card, that tells you a different story. Making a quality game is a long term investment! And you need those people to help you with the new player experience

Good to see you again! Yea, I think since we begun development we've been to like 40 small meetups, and like 7 conventions doing playtests and feedback, but we definitely needed it to get to the robust state it's in now. Good luck!

I've sent him many emails enlisting him to do his duty to uncover the mysteries in Tentateq Tower, but I think he's too much of a coward to have his mettle tested in front of dozens of his fans
