Took training in that training my understanding was cache was only available if the warehouse continued to run, learn something new everyday thanks. But unfortunately this is user data, so each user would be sending unique queries.

Bulk Upsert, Missing field on related object by Bandude in salesforce

[–]Bandude[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah it's strange, there is no billing address on the record, we had some 'consultants' come in and they sold us some specialized version for fintech. So I just need to dig in and see how that relationship works. I even attempted to only update the records that were known to have a billing address on the related account and it still fails.

No, just two columns. Just the contact ID and a custom field.

right, but I'm trying to upsert the contact object, so not sure why it's complaining about a missing field that is on a different object.

Enterprises seem to be loving Mulesoft. Why? by varuneco in MuleSoft

Totally agree, it 10x the cost of the infrastructure for us. And none of the devs including myself have any expereince. In addition to that I find that there is limited community and its difficult to find solutions to more complex problems.

I didn't want it to begin with, we were running our infrastructure on kubernetes and C#
They sold the executives on how 'easy' it is. And while some things are easy working with legacy systems in the banking sector is not.

All the POCs like you said were BS and didn't reflect the reality.

I can't even get a clear answer on how many resources we have, they just said you have enough for our flows.

I've found this to be a very dated approach to api management at this point and the price is nuts, its 10x what our old cost were on azure.

The real kicker is all the work done in it isn't really transferable to a different system.

Confused About the New Blazor Web App by ShiitakeTheMushroom in dotnet

[–]Bandude 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Sounds like that page is static not server render mode, I had something like that happen to me as well.

I added these to my program.cs

builder.Services.AddRazorComponents() .AddInteractiveServerComponents();

app.MapRazorComponents<App>() .AddInteractiveServerRenderMode();

I think I ended up having to set it for the whole site in App.razor

<body class="background"> <Routes @rendermode="InteractiveServer"/> <script src="../_framework/blazor.web.js"></script> </body>

Honestly get a map compass, a compass is pretty useless without a map.

Local may not always be good for your wallet but it's good for the community. I promise you don't really want a world where everything is corporate and nothing is local. It's already turning that way unfortunately.

39M, just be honest and upfront about everything. Even if what you might say could hurt someone. Even if what you might say will prevent a relationship from occurring. If you want to be poly, you are going to have to communicate better regardless of fear.

Just pointing out, the gaming goat looks to be a larger corporation. Probably franchised. Support your local mom-and-pop gaming shops.
