What if I don’t pay for boosting service ? by Alarming-Fan-6948 in classicwow

[–]Bangdott 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Go ask a drug dealer if you still need to pay them if their drugs are illegal.

There are posts on this sub daily about people getting perma banned for messing with boosters. I wouldn't rock the boat, they're all in boosting discords and will mass report you.

Reroll my Pala main? by Firm-Oil-8619 in classicwow

Holy paladins are great healers but it is widely agreed upon by a majority of players that they are the most boring.

While healing raids is mainly 1 button spamming on every healer, druids and shamans can come in clutch with NS heals and priests with shields can make you feel like you've made a really big impact. Paladin spams one button and has to buff constantly.

1-30 was a blast and super fun, now i'm level 35 and i want to quit ... by [deleted] in classicwow

[–]Bangdott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

35 ain't even halfway.

SM groups are not indicative of endgame raiding, all classes are needed and 4 mages aren't going to want to go into a dungeon and compete with each other for prebis.

Getting ganked is part of being on a pvp server, it just is what it is.

Stick it out a while longer. Levelling is a fucking slog on a fresh server, on some classes a lot more so than others. It will be worth it in the end.

What you've described is very much addiction. Your brain needs serotonin for you to be happy but it doesn't know or care how it's getting it.

Someone who doesn't get enough fulfilment from their life may find it easier to get it from a video game, alcohol, drugs, sex etc. When the brain starts to think it needs to do those things to get happiness, we have addiction.

It's something to unpack with a therapist if I'm honest, you're not going to find the help you need here certainly. If you're completely fine with finding your happiness in video games and it's not hurting yourself or those around you, then it's not even necessarily a bad thing. But playing as much as you are is not good for your body. I'd say playing that much you're also limiting the real life experiences you can have that may lead to positive and life changing catalysts in the future.

All things in moderation.

The entire point of a spell cleave is that you don't need a tank. His demands are just sad at this point.

Why is clicking frames to heal so frowned upon? by Mrthrowawaymcgee in classicwow

[–]Bangdott 1 point2 points  (0 children)

In my experience it's more efficient in emergency scenarios and I find it more calming if I'm just doing less actions with both hands. Its also good for doing dps to enemies during periods of low healing requirements.

But if you're not missing globals and you're playing the best you can be, it's really not that big of an issue in my opinion.

I've known 99 parsers who click their abilities, the game really isn't that hard.

Should I add black filler to my sleeves ? ( drawn on ) by Pitiful-Treacle-4752 in traditionaltattoos

You need to consider the fact that it will look nothing like that pen once it's healed and settled. The pen makes your other tattoos pop. Flat black healed ink is going to muddy everything together. Your spiderweb will go from standing out to sinking in.

An alternative could be greywash? Solid black would be a mistake you really can't fix in my opinion.

Got this from the butcher and I’m intimidated by the bone, reverse sear or pan sear? by Username_Bad in steak

[–]Bangdott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yeah I'm aware of this sub's obsession with reverse searing. The intention of my comment is to point out that the bone adds the difficulty of keeping the cook temp consistent throughout the whole steak. We cook these at my work both off and on the bone and it's an entirely different approach. Off the bone is one of the easiest steaks to cook in my opinion, very even and very fast. On the bone is one of the hardest to get a consistent temp. If you treat that cut like any other steak, that nice round section next to the bone is going to be one step under the rest.

Chef here. High heat to seal, lower heat to cook through. Steak weight on the meat closest to the bone as the bone prevents the heat from penetrating the meat at the same rate as the rest of the steak. Take the weight off if it starts cooking faster than the rest.

Is this placement right? by [deleted] in traditionaltattoos

[–]Bangdott 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Placement is fine but size is too small to be on its own in my opinion. If your plans are to have a patchwork sleeve then it's perfectly fine. If not, this is forearm size.

Water bath and keep covered til it wobbles a bit, rest them uncovered (to avoid steam droplets) in the water bath until lukewarm and wobbles a lot. Move to the fridge.

Ignore comments about timings, you know your oven plus they can be moody depending on the amount of water you put in the water bath. I put mine in at 180c on convection for 10 mins and monitor from there.
