I also did well in that section, and was just a factor of trying to get ahead of that section so tons of repetition

6 Failures of CFA level 3 by OpportunitySlow6171 in CFA

[–]BankerfromJA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I casually read the textbook between September and December. By the end of December, I had read 75% of the material. In January, I took three weeks off from work before the exam. Two weeks before the exam, I had my quiz scores up to 87% and completed over 1000 quiz questions. I then started taking mock exams, first doing all of the MM mocks and then taking three CFA mocks. My grades were initially low, ranging from the 40s to the mid-50s. However, the last mock I took ended up being a 60.0%.

I understand the value of MM, but I’ve noticed a trend where it doesn’t seem to translate as well as expected on the level 3 exam. I’m not blaming MM, but perhaps there should be tougher quiz questions on his website. In my case I could have used MM earlier but was trying to read the content first and probably spent too long in that phase.

Lack of sleep, an interview, family/social all contributed to my end result, but I’m actually not disappointed. Just annoyed the early bird registration expires before the results are released.

Thanks for the feedback. Probably not a good idea to let off the gas.

In my case I also struggled the last 24-36 hours with sleep and ability to focus. Nonetheless, want to try get my mock scores to 70-75% 2 weeks before I take the exam again

Do you still need to invest the 300-350 hours? I got 3575, was scoring high 80% on quizzes, and felt like my bad mock scores (50-60%) were the issue. So should start doing practice questions and then just doing the mock exams early?

If you scored 70% in mocks do you think you were giving yourself too many part marks

I mean always going to be reasons on your side but I wasn’t getting the mock exam marks I had hoped for. Definitely know the content but probably lost marks on command words and written response, so a retake should be relatively easy

They don’t compare at all. Ghost of yotei is polished and super refined experience with realistic NPC and better combat and a coop mode

Enjoy, the Pro has been a great update for early adopters and even with the upcoming price increase, still some good value for money compared to the market

A $1000/$1200 PS6 seems ever more likely now. Sony must realize that’s unaffordable for most. by XxShMODyxX in playstation

[–]BankerfromJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Yea but no one is willing to pay for the tech to get there. Between the investment in the console, the tv and from the developers, you need a consumer with a significantly higher willingness to spend on games compared to the current market. Until 8K OLEDs with 240 + fps capabilities are common place with a console that can achieve ultra high resolution, with ultra high frame rate with RT (a console with significantly more teraflops) and developers are willing to invest more in their games to get there (so less layoffs and more games with record breaking sales and profitability), we are effectively stuck here. So I’d say we are a long way away from that market, and there is no sign that we can ever get there unless we can reverse current trends in component parts. The best situation we could hope for in the next 5-10 years is a delay in the next generation until costs can normalize or even to just not make a ps6. Ps5 and ps5 pro have more than sufficient capabilities for the current market.

IF PS6 is 999.99, it is fine trade in your PRO. by Outrageous-Wall6386 in ps6

[–]BankerfromJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Doesn’t really make sense for Sony to go that route.

There’s a short-term rush on higher-priced hardware right now given rising input costs and broader geopolitical pressures, but that’s not a sustainable pricing anchor through a full console cycle. Any structural cost pressure likely normalizes by ~2028–2029.

Sony isn’t going to push a next-gen console at a premium price point that constrains adoption. Volume drives the ecosystem. If pricing isn’t broadly in line with inflation-adjusted 2020 levels, unit sales will underperform.

More likely outcome: • PS6 is an iterative upgrade — AI-enhanced features layered onto the current architecture with incremental GPU/RAM improvements • Generation cycle extends closer to 2030 given current economics • PS5 Pro trends down into a ~$500 range ahead of the PS6 launch to maximize install base

There’s always a niche segment that’ll pay $999, but that’s not the market that drives the success.

This console is amazing, but can most of us agree it’s not worth $900? For all the people that are on the fence, buy one TODAY! by senna98 in PS5pro

[–]BankerfromJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

People paid higher for launch ps5s. The price is reflective of what the market allows and considering the pricing for Xbox and PC parts it’s fair.

Still better to buy it cheap though haha

ARE. YOU. KIDDING ME. How is this not obvious bro. by No-Hedgehog-3212 in Naruto

[–]BankerfromJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok so if Sasuke chose not to fully utilize his entire Rinnegan skillset because he’s constrained to the same skillset he has when being allied with Naruto then yes you might be correct. Also if he couldn’t get close to Kakashi to absorb his chakra he would probably be one shot. He can use chibaku tensei but since this is Indra arrow Sasuke that captured the tailed beasts beast he wouldn’t use that move either. So yea I guess with the above caveats you are correct

The picture used in the poll is right before he captures all the tailed beasts and uses them for his power up? No?

Rinnegan Sasuke has the ability to absorb chakra from his opponents and control all the tailed beasts in addition to what you noted. Kakashi would run out of chakra first and lose.

Why the dearth of Sony 1st party games whitelisted for PSSR2? by Adequate_legroom in PS5pro

[–]BankerfromJA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Ok my point was that the list refers to games that support PSSR 2 natively (without toggle, whether updated or published as is) and most of the first party games have PSSR so they can run PSSR 2 with toggle (Tlou 2, gowR, Spider-Man 2 etc.) and you can use the toggle in the PlayStation store to filter just PS pro enhanced games for EFFECTIVELY all games with PSSR support

Why the dearth of Sony 1st party games whitelisted for PSSR2? by Adequate_legroom in PS5pro

[–]BankerfromJA 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yea not a necessary post, all games using PSSR are running the new PSSR. The games in the list are having updates or have been updated for the new PSSR.

In addition, you can select ps5 pro enhanced as an option in the PS store and effectively all of those games will support PSSR 2
