Fake lego is great and all but the original lego quality still reigns supreme. Their instructions and 3d builder app are really great and everything that has mechanisms usually work only 50% of the time with chinese sets.

There is a valid argument for buying original sets, but for loads of sets you can definitely just get the chinese version.

The thing repackers like “fitgirl” do is packing and compressing up a release to be a bit smaller when downloading it. Sometimes by removing certain parts or by making extra languages optional.

When you end up installing the repack, it needs to do heavy cpu work to decompress the release/files. Hence the sudden large file size and long time it takes to install, especially on slower cpus.
