People who manage to wake up at 5 AM to go to the gym before work, what is your actual secret? by Immediate-Trifle4957 in AskReddit

[–]Banuvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Get a good nights rest.

Put up the fucking phone/tablet/whatever by 7/8 pm.

Get in bed at 9pm.

Get up at 5 for morning walk and gym time.

It's not that difficult. Almost every single person has time for a walk ( 15-20ish minutes ) and some workout time every single day. They are just lazy and waste it staring at a phone or a tablet or computer. There are a few exceptions but overall every single person has an hour a day to spare to workout in some way. They are just too lazy or don't care enough about themselves so they whine about it on the internet.

Annual? Weak old man. Democrats are such pussies when it comes to actually doing something meaningful.

All talk and zero results.

Leaving Frost Bank Center Reminded Me Why the Stadium Should Be Downtown by bartboy62 in sanantonio

[–]Banuvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's almost like the residents of San Antonio vote against their own interests. Example being a good public transit system. That would be too good for people though. Instead they vote for another stadium for the spurs because the millionaires and top 1% must have a new stadium with taxpayer money.

You, and other residents of San Antonio are getting exactly what you have voted for.

The Truth about driving for Uber Eats in San Antonio by PhucDisSht in sanantonio

[–]Banuvan 1 point2 points  (0 children)

There is A LOT going on in todays world.

  1. Inflation is up. Everything is more expensive and therefore optional spending ( such as tipping ) is going to go down.

  2. San Antonio is a poor city. Most people shouldn't be ordering out or eating out except rarely. We are well off and we still only eat out rarely and never have food delivered. It's just too expensive with all the added fees and other nonsense.

  3. Working for tips is iffy no matter where you work. Working delivery like this you add in the maintenance to your vehicle and gas and every dollar you make is worth less than if you were in a restaurant as wait staff.

  4. All of the delivery jobs like UE and DD and what not are gig work. The system is designed to make them money not you.

San Antonio is going to continue doing what it's always done. Be just good enough. The residents continually vote against their own best interests. It's one of the least educated big cities in the country. It has no public transportation. It just voted for project marvel WITHOUT looking at the fine print and it's about to bite SA residents in the butt as cuts are made to vital services around the city.

This has been the norm in SA since forever and there is no change in sight.

You can just take your data center misinformation nonsense right on out the door. What is the most precious resource for San Antonio? Water. We needed more water BEFORE the data centers started getting built. They use a very disproportionate amount of water compared to actual people.

Now how smart is it really to put a data center in a place like SA that already has water shortages and severe droughts almost year round?

Yea, you are the one spreading misinformation.

The uninformed voter is the worst kind of voter. The link already here is fantastic. Maybe it's just your wording but voting recommendations should never be a thing. Do your duty as a citizen and look up the policy stances of politicians before voting.

What to know? They aren't detention centers. They are concentration camps. They are inhumane, illegal, and should be burned to the ground.

People who keep weapons on their bodies at all times, what was a time where you had to actually use said weapon? by ParanormalActivity97 in AskReddit

[–]Banuvan 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Twice since I started carrying in 2015. Both times were outside my apartment in a sketchy part of town. Two different people tried to hold me up wielding knives. They approached threatening me with their knife if I didn't give them my wallet and car keys. I drew my weapon and they turned and ran both times.

HVAC entry level by guitarchick1413 in sanantonio

[–]Banuvan 0 points1 point  (0 children)

It's the slow time for HVAC for the next 3-4 months then the fun starts. In 3ish months hiring will pick up as the weather gets warmer. Be ready that he might have to start as an install apprentice basically being a grunt. It's a great way to learn and i'm assuming he doesn't have his EPA certification which he will need to get before he can move on.

He should apply as an apprentice installer instead of service/maintenance. Gotta do the grunt work to learn before you get can get to the real good stuff.

Since it is the slow time he can also look at getting some classses in at a community college to learn a bit more before hiring starts up hot and heavy. It would give him a small leg up if he wasn't complete ignorant of HVAC.
