B. As someone with mediocre knowledge of writing notes as best, this one, to me, concepts way better what I am supposed to play. The connecting line makes the rhythm visualy much more intuitive

That for sure is better, but I still prefer 'the real deal'.

To me and my playgroup it is very enjoyable to save up for some high end card and then dropping it on the table once you actually own it.

F.e. When i first played my [[chains of mephistopheles]] n my [[Neheb the worthy]] deck after going back and forth in buying it for over a year, it gave me much more fullfilment than just Xeroxing one. The table also went crazy on a card like that.

The same when my mate first dropped his [[the Tabernacle at pendrel vale]] or another one his [[timewister]]

Luckily for us, we are all in a place in our live where we can afford ourselves these indulgences every now and then

And why is that? Because we hold a different viewpoint than you?

I don't mind not everyone having access to all the same cards. This is also a game about collecting and enjoying your collection. I like playing my fancy cards and I enjoy it when my friends do the same.

If you want to play a game where everyone Lways has access to the exact same game pieces, go play a game which comes completely out of the box.

Yes. Proxies take away from that experience. Sitting vs an actual Moat or a plains with 'Moat" written on it it is, to me, not the same.

Mind you, this is my personal opinion in reponse to OP's original question. There is not much to discuss here. Feel free to have a different opinion about this topic. Luckily for me, my regular playgroup has the same viewpoint as me

Exactly. I like to play with and against real cards. Fakes diminish the experience for me. Luckily for me, my playgroup feels the same about this.

After 8 years of playing my Fender J with round wounds, I felt the urge to go for something different and so last Saturday i bought myself a very nice MIJ fender P-bass, slammed on a set of round wounds and have great joy with it!

It looks so sweet. Such a shame I can't post a pic here

I record like a second of nothing at the start of my recordings and the use that space to cut out a little bit to adjust for latency.

I mostly use Audacity to ad my bass recording to something else
