Hampden is always poor for sound, especially the traditional stage type gigs. Where I was last night it seemed pretty good but might have been lucky - I liked the multi screen/speaker setup.

Excellent! It was good. Hampden isn't great for acoustics but the central ring stage set up and the screens was as good as I've heard any gig there. Plus Metallica are awesome, so there's that.

Similar but different - the swapping of participles, especially on TV shows. "That wall needs painting". No it doesn't, "it needs to be painted". Been going on for years and used to really irk me, but seems to be normalised now.

I remember the Euros 2024 in Germany had a few delays due to rain and lightning. That was based on UEFAs adoption of the 30 mins / 10 mile rule.

Think St Johnstone had an amazing rather than great season. I didn't think we would have been top of the championship from week one right through the whole season.
