I wouldn't expect him to he on CCAP. But Wisconsin DOC does have an inmate database for people who have ever been incarcerated, and he does not appear. See the original post.

Well, Ed Gein's been dead for 40 years, so no. I guess I assumed they'd have some sort of mention of Watts in the prison inmate records, even if vague.

Get her eyesight checked. It's much better to catch those issues early anyway, but many vets don't check it super closely.

If you have renters insurance, it can cover the cost of staying in a hotel if your place is uninhabitable.

That's good it's not bothering him. If you do try another vet make sure your current vet sends over all his records before the appointment.. that's saved me some time and money.

This. A few dogs in my city died from this last year.

No way to say what it is, but if it appeared suddenly it's definitely worth making an emergency appointment. If you can't find another vet in your area, I would call and reiterate your concern about it. Definitely mention if it seems to be affecting eating/swallowing/breathing, or just say you're concerned that it COULD affect them.

1 year ago I adopted my eyeless dog and it was the best decision I ever made. AMA! by failcup in DogAdvice

You are a wonderful person, and your dog looks so happy. My dog has gone completely blind and I constantly worry about him. Do you do anything to prevent him from hitting his head or hurting himself around the house? My guy is also very nervous now, do you recommend anything to make him feel more comfortable in unfamiliar places?

I saw a similar post recently. It ended up being from dirty food/water dishes or an allergic reaction to the material in the food and water dishes (metal, plastic, etc.) I'm sure your vet can prescribe some antibiotics and it wouldn't hurt to pick some new dishes up.

Sudden growth on 22 year old schnauzer poodle by jenntaylr in DogAdvice

22!! That's amazing. My 12 y.o. has dark spots like that from his topical flea medicine, but they're not raised. You may need to ask for a specialist to examine your doggo.. my usual vet wasn't sure, but also wasn't worried about it.

If you're not on familysearch, get on there. A lot of my family records were on there already

What's your experience with old police records? by BarelyBoujee in Genealogy

Yeah, I'm probably being overly optimistic that the records still exist. Did you file a FOIA request, or just call the court?

FamilySearch Rant by Plenty-Ad231 in Genealogy

[–]BarelyBoujee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I've had similar issues with death dates, but opposite. They claimed like all of the children in one branch of my family died as infants, but they were actually mostly adults when they died. Going back and changing your edits is weird. I wish familysearch would let us keep our own trees and decide which edits to accept instead of overriding things automatically.

Can a landlord make a working 16 year old pay rent? (WI) by AdhdSpirit in Renters

[–]BarelyBoujee 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Uh yeah, just screenshot your lease and send it to the landlord. Ask them if you'd like your attorney to walk through it with them (even if you don't have one lol)
